4821 Broadway, San Antonio“Always love to come here for most basic Asian/Filipino ingredients and favorite snacks and treats. Prices are always way cheaper than Tim's Oriental (an issue I don't really understand, Tim's is bigger and have huge inventory inside their huge warehouse and still offer more expensive stuff) and customer service here is way better. Just make sure to check your receipt for number of items scanned. It's not intentional but it's human error, I had several times one extra items on my receipt so I had to go back and have them take it off my receipt. They have smaller place and limited selections but it's always clean, well-kept and no funky smell at all. It maybe way farther from your place but it pays to drive here for better and cheaper pricing than Tim's. Always love it when they still have the boiled peanuts on Saturday mornings. They usually have it Fridays but you'll be lucky if there's still some on Saturday morning, and today is a lucky day for me.”
“Really affordable priced fruit!! They even had some seasonal fruit and grinded seasonings. I must’ve got there early because I was gonna order agua frescas from the stand inside but they only had lemonade. It was so good though I didn’t mind ? definitely recommend stopping by! This is what I got for $39. Also if prices are higher than competitors, they are willing to price match. Support local businesses!”
“I came for some bread & left with a lot more than just...bread. *wink If I had to describe Central Market, I could do it in 3 words. This is the UPSCALE TRADER JOES. Maybe even Whole Foods on some level. Don't expect this to meet your expectations for your local HEB. It won't. That said, it's a classier, far more expensive supermarket...but the variety is OH MY GOD. Like other reviewers have stated, if you are looking for that ONE ingredient that seems impossible to find, you have a darn good chance at finding it here. Walking through the aisles, I could tell that Central Market carries QUALITY ingredients. There was many different "areas" depending on what you are looking for which made it easier to get what you need, but it was still nice to roam. We mainly came for their SOURDOUGH bread but unfortunately we didn't get the plain one. I LOVE that I finally found a place that carries ELLENOS yogurt (Marionberry is the best flavor, imo)...and I'll be back even if it's just for this particular item. All in all, I could spend a good two hours going from place to place in this market.”

“Awesome little place, had everything I was looking for and for a great price!!! Asked for Mexican fireworks, they said those were illegal...so I still took the Mexican products, great customer service, will definitely be back.”
“This is like the Cheers of convenience stores. The workers are friendly and the beer and sodas are always on ice. They sell all the good Mexican candy, pinatas, and tons of beer and soda brands and they have tables, chairs and bounce houses for rent.”

“One of the best Halal food and meat Market in San Antonio TX. Verity of food such as Afghani,Pakistani,Turkish,Mediterranean and most importantly the fresh Afghani bread. The owner is a friendly nice guy.Highly recommended”
“Contrary to previous reviews I had a 1000am appointment, checked in 0900, immediately assigned door 17 and empty by 0930. Down side of it is the blind side backing without a spotter, there’s a lumper fee, overnight parking on the street”
