“Its part of HEB so they have some HEB branded stuff. They also have a wider range of fruits and vegetables. I usually stop for the heirloom tomatoes which HEB doesn't normally have in their main stores. They are expensive but taste like tomatoes not plastic”
“Love this small Asian market in the WOH area. You can call and ask ahead if you're looking for specific items before you go. I usually ask about the pickled radish, and it's one of the only local places that carries it near me. Perfect for when I'm making homemade kimbap and can't find all the items I need at HEB.”
“all time favorite store love it I highly recommend was sick and was given medicine purchased it with a great price & the auga frescas amazing i highly recommended and if you see thr police tape on Wednesday means there closed and the officers they park there to file there report from traffic stops or to grab a bite at dinos taco truck or at lalas Gorditas”
“Highly recommend pineapple cheesecake. It is super delicious. Pretty much anything this place makes you can bet will be super tasty and you will certainly want to go back and order more for your next special day.”
“Awesome little place, had everything I was looking for and for a great price!!! Asked for Mexican fireworks, they said those were illegal...so I still took the Mexican products, great customer service, will definitely be back.”
“I came for some bread & left with a lot more than just...bread. *wink If I had to describe Central Market, I could do it in 3 words. This is the UPSCALE TRADER JOES. Maybe even Whole Foods on some level. Don't expect this to meet your expectations for your local HEB. It won't. That said, it's a classier, far more expensive supermarket...but the variety is OH MY GOD. Like other reviewers have stated, if you are looking for that ONE ingredient that seems impossible to find, you have a darn good chance at finding it here. Walking through the aisles, I could tell that Central Market carries QUALITY ingredients. There was many different "areas" depending on what you are looking for which made it easier to get what you need, but it was still nice to roam. We mainly came for their SOURDOUGH bread but unfortunately we didn't get the plain one. I LOVE that I finally found a place that carries ELLENOS yogurt (Marionberry is the best flavor, imo)...and I'll be back even if it's just for this particular item. All in all, I could spend a good two hours going from place to place in this market.”
“Great meat market. Fresh meat and extremely high quality. It's nice to see a sole-proprietorship thrive in San Antonio and I appreciate supporting this local business because they are the ONLY place in San Antonio that I have found offering specialty cuts like an ENTIRE LEG OF LAMB. This is great! They also offer a lot of very unique craft grocery items that are extremely difficult to find elsewhere and everything at a reasonable and affordable price.”

“Great staff! Fresh produce that's actually in GOOD condition. Never seen raspberries any more fresh than here. How do they do it? I don't know but how nice!”
“Small produce market with pretty good selection of fruit and vegetables. Produce was beautiful and fresh! Prices on par and sometimes cheaper than HEB. I wouldn’t recommend getting more “exotic” fruit there as it was pretty pricey (I.e pomegranates, dragon fruit, etc). Wasn’t crowded and there was plenty of parking, even on the weekend.”
