Absolutely five stars for the Lincoln Heights Market H‑E‑B in San Antonio! I was told by several friends that H‑E‑B was a must-visit if I was in the area, and I can confidently say it did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean, organized, and well-stocked the store was. The layout is intuitive, the aisles are spacious, and everything is clearly labeled, making it easy to find exactly what you need — and a few things you didn’t know you needed!
Let’s talk about the produce department — incredible. Everything was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully displayed. You can tell they take pride in offering top-quality fruits and vegetables. The meat department, though, was truly next-level. The selection was expansive and well-curated, with knowledgeable staff ready to offer suggestions and answer any questions. I picked up some steaks that were absolutely perfect — fresh, well-marbled, and reasonably priced.
One of the absolute highlights? The H‑E‑B butter tortillas. I’d heard people rave about them, and now I get it. Warm, soft, buttery perfection. Honestly, I could eat them straight out of the bag (and I did). They’re a must-buy if you visit.
Every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there, which adds to the positive shopping experience. This H‑E‑B has everything you could want from a grocery store — quality, selection, service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll absolutely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the San Antonio area.

Just an awesome HEB freshly remodeled and it always smells like Texas BBQ. That alone makes it awesome and the HEB to shop at!! Still as good as ever.

I took one star off cause of the ridiculous speed bumps right in front of the store. Every time I go to this HEB I see some old lady struggling to get her shopping cart over a huge speed bump. Other locations have this problem solved in a much more shopper friendly fashion.

BEST CURBSIDE STAFF EVER I MISS THEM SO MUCH!! I moved to stone oak and not the same service at all. You really don’t know what you have until it’s gone. They always do a great job and definitely set the bar high in San Antonio

I do the curbside. It’s great. I shop online, it’s not complicated. I pay online. Then pickup the following day because there is no fee then. I get groceries that I wanted. No over spending.

I like this store because it is located in Alma Heights and it has everything you need. They also have a barbecue station there which is very very good! Five stars ✨ You’ve got to try this barbecue. 🍖
