“I recently had a frustrating experience at Home Depot while searching for screws. The store felt chaotic, and despite wandering the aisles for what felt like ages, I couldn't find the specific screws I needed. I tried to flag down an employee for assistance, but it seemed like everyone was too busy or simply unavailable. I ended up feeling lost and ignored, which added to my frustration.
In stark contrast, my visit to Ace Hardware was a breath of fresh air. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff eager to help. They quickly guided me to the screws I needed, and even offered suggestions based on my project. The personal attention made all the difference, turning what could have been another tedious errand into a pleasant shopping experience.
Overall, my trip to Home Depot left me feeling disappointed and frustrated, while Ace Hardware proved to be a welcoming and helpful alternative. I’ll definitely think twice before returning to Home Depot for my hardware needs.”

“This place was so cool! They had baby ducks and chickens and everything you might need for so many types of pets! I went in looking for rat poison but had to jump on a client call and didn’t get to go back and buy anything. But when I need something for a pet, I will definitely keep this place in mind. Had a great experience at the location near Bitters/281… was greeted and accurately given directions to the item needed, then greeted again moments later and, as I attempted to load an item onto my flatbed, was offered assistance by Leroy in the nearby plumbing department to load the remaining items and he suggested to purchase one additional to receive a bulk discount (no brainer!). Heading to the self-checkout, the attendant offered to have someone load my car; I accepted and before I could reach my car, was approached.
Few things to note because I’ve been purchasing 5 bags of salt crystals from different Home Depot locations four times a year over the past eight years:
1.No employee has ever offered to load my flatbed with these heavy bags
2. No employee has ever told me about the bulk discount with the purchase of 6 bags
3. No employee has ever offered to have someone load my car or assisted me with this task
Way to step up your customer service game… I’ll definitely be back to this location!”

“So, I used to be a Lowe's girl, but, recently, I have found Home Depot to have a better selection of plants - and plants is what I have wanted lately. We got some beautiful Gardenia plants. First, I only got one, but when I saw how pretty it was, and that the deer didn't bother it, I decided to pull up some unhealthy and ugly looking Rosemary plants and plant more Gardenias. They look lovely - such an improvement! I also got a couple of Jasmine plants, some Lantana and a couple of Salvia plants. During the quarantine, we have taken the opportunity to spruce up our home and landscaping, and Home Depot has been very useful. We got Granite Grip, a coating for concrete, to use on our front porch and walkway. I also want to get new cushions for an outdoor settee, and some solar lights. We're on a roll!”
“A good place to rent tools and an even better place to find out what tools you need. I would recommend talking to an associate named Vontrell. I arrived knowing what jobs needed to be done, and I thought what tools were needed. After speaking with Vontrell, he directed me to the right tools for my job, saving me a lot of time. Vontrell was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He went over the equipment with me and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend renting from the I-10 tool section and asking for Vontrell.”

“I've always been a Lowe's girl, I usually only venture into Home Depot when they have something that I can't find at Lowe's. That's what brought me to the Bitters Home Depot on Tuesday May 24th, they had something I couldn't get anywhere else. I needed Rust-oleum Home Floor Coating and I needed it tinted to Seattle Mist. I couldn't find it anywhere on the shelf of the paint dept. and just when I was about to go looking for help, help arrived by the name of Sam. I told him what I wanted and he began the hunt. Turns out they were up on a high shelf with the extra stock, so Sam went to get a ladder and got a light base and a deep base down since we didn't know which one was needed.Then the real fun began. Poor Sam. I told him the color choice and he went to the computer and nope-wrong base, but it wasn't the wrong base. Tried again with the deep base and nope-wrong base again. Sam tried everything, all while never once losing his patience with me and all my questions. He was exceedingly kind, knowledgeable and understanding, and he never gave up. In the end, he got me my Seattle Mist floor paint and he thanked ME for my patience. I am so grateful to have had Sam to work with on this because truly, HE was the patient one, no lie I asked about 142 questions. I think from now on all my future paint needs are going to be met here at the Bitters location just so I can work with Sam again!Also, I can't forget about Ron who also helped me with mixing a trim color while I was waiting for Sam to work his magic. Ron was helpful, kind, funny and he had my paint mixed and done so fast I couldn't believe it!”
“We were doing a PVC pipe diy project for our baby. Went to Lowe's and they said they wouldn't help cut the pipe. So we gave this Home Depot a call to see if they would help us cut the pipes to fit in our car. Joel came to the rescue! No fancy saw, he just whipped out some PVC pipe scissors, measured and cut us over 10 cuts. We really appreciated his help!”

“I went to this exact home depot and have been recently having issues with the starter of my car. After I bought my items and was about to leave, my car didn't start like always, and this time it was being more difficult than usual. “The reason I gave this Home Depot 4 out of 5 stars is because they lose the star for having their staff asked me about my t-shirt. I guess the staff member didn't like a heavy metal t-shirt because they were wearing a crucifix asking me what's up with my t-shirt and said that they didn't like it because it looked like it was devil worship. I would suggest that the staff keep their opinions to themselves and just make my keys whenever I ask them to.”

“A large DIY store where you will be able to find various things for the work you are doing or that you are about to start. The only bad thing, like the other stores of this large chain of stores, is that on several occasions you will not find everything you are looking for and you will have to go to another of their branches, which is a little annoying because if you are in a hurry with your project this will take you a little while, in general, everything is fine.”
