Rainbow Gardens is a garden center serving South Texas since 1976. It is described as an absolutely fabulous garden center with many spring blooms available. The business offers a diverse selection of plants and products, with every plant except one that a customer was looking for, and notes that prices were cheaper than another location. Customers stroll down paved and crushed granite paths under the shade of century-old live oaks in these park-like sites. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and very nice people. The professional staff has decades of experience, helping novice and master gardeners alike, with amazing knowledge. New gardeners find the team amazing, offering helpful advice on soil, overall care, rose disease, and how to amend soil, saving money on unnecessary products. Display gardens and educational signs all contribute to gardening success. The service is efficient, with a reasonable length of time for tasks. The experience did not disappoint, leaving customers happy with their purchases.
This is the best nursery in San Antonio hands down, I can’t think of another that is even close now that shades of green closed. I am xeriscaping my yard and they have a great selection of cactus, agaves, and yuccas. All you need for plants suited to the hot San Antonio climate, Rainbow Gardens is my go to. Highly Recommend!!!

Nice selection of both indoor and outdoor plants. Different soils and fertilizers. Nice selection of flower pots and decorative items for the yard. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A pleasure to just walk around and enjoy the clean air.

Wow so many things to look and yes I have been here before. I got what I came for but was looking for something else and didn't see it.
