About The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center
The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center is a well-run thrift shop where purchases support drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs. The store offers an excellent selection of merchandise, including clothing, furniture, formal dresses, and jewelry, with some items described as much better than brand new. It is well organized and staff are generally good and kind. The location is easy-to-access with ample parking. A popular tip is that Wednesday is the best day for clothing, when all clothes are half off. Some note prices can seem a tad higher than other stores, and a strict policy requires all items to have a price tag for purchase. While lines can sometimes be long, many find joy in visiting and appreciate that their money goes to a helpful cause. Donations are also accepted at this location.
Good selection of furniture. Home goods are sparse. Store consists of mostly clothing. Was surprised to find they had no books at all. Prices a bit high.

I’m so disappointed on the reviews - I once went to this shop & recommended it to my friends. The fact that prices went up, I might as well go to Walmart and pay for NEW cloths. I won’t waste my time .. I’ll try Family Thrift on Bandera - what’s the reason to shut down fitting rooms????
