The Scottish Rite Auditorium is a historic venue that hosts performances like philharmonic concerts and tribute shows. Its interesting building features great acoustics and offers good visibility, making it a suitable place to enjoy live music. The space is beautiful and full of character, though it shows its age and could benefit from some upgrades. Seating can be tight, with small seats that may be uncomfortable for larger bodies, and there are stairs that can be challenging for elderly or those with mobility issues. The auditorium can get warm during events, but the warm atmosphere created by the performers and staff helps guests overlook the temperature. Staff and ushers are friendly and hospitable, making efforts to accommodate everyone, including those with mobility challenges. Parking can be limited, so arriving early is recommended. Visitors appreciate the venue's unique charm and the quality of performances, such as the San Antonio Philharmonic and tribute shows. Overall, the Scottish Rite Auditorium is a beloved, historic space that provides a memorable experience, especially for those who enjoy classic music and cultural events. With some minor updates, it could become even more accessible and comfortable for all guests.
Love that building. You gotta see it from the inside if you haven't yet

Very disappointed. Sign stated that this location is open M-F 10:00am-2:00pm. We went on a Friday only to find out that they are now only open M-Thursday.

The history of this building is amazing. If you get to go inside and look around take it all in. 100 years of history and the acoustics were amazing. Staff is top notch. Thanks for the hospitality to the Aledo band, Marlene, & myself.
