A shoutout to all the kitchen staff / workers - Patty, Fenway, Jenny, and Jose - breakfast was delicious and fill and what a great start to our day heading out to my doctor’s appointment with having eaten and delicious breakfast and have wonderful kitchen staff who made us feel so welcome.
These individuals - your staff deserve a raise or at least a gift card - it’s staff like them that make customers feel valued and we appreciate their hard work.”
“everything was good except for the lobster pasta it was to much oil I couldn't eat it, I took it home to eat later and got more oily.overall is good but i didn't enjoyed the pasta and it was my birthday but I didn't complain, beer isn't in the menu you have to ask for it then have like 4 options the one we choose was really good.”

“The down sides to the room: Street Noise! Hallway Noise and it was COLD!!! I could not get it warm enough to sleep.
Staff is nothing shy of AMAZING!!! Valet went and grabbed me a travel mug out of my car.
Room service OMG! Absolutely Above and beyond! I didn't need house keeping but I needed coffee pods, Splenda and creamer. My Server more than took care of my needs. Did mention my dinner? Steak was cooked exactly as ordered. Asparagus was tender and flavored just right. Baby potatoes, melt away! The only thing on my room service tray that was over priced, ice tea! But my server took care of that also!”

“Hotel was in good shape, clean rooms but very wierd smell entering 2nd floor (I reported it and next day smell was gone). Also hot tub needed chlorine for sure! Hotel has lobby bar, restaurant on site, indoor pool, outdoor pool, kids pool and hot tub and nice trail for walking. I would stay here again!”

“My other half and I have been coming here every year for the Valentine's Day dinner. It's very quiet and they do not disappoint. The dinner is wonderful. They give the ladies a rose and they offer chocolate covered strawberries. It's quiet and romantic. The manager always recognizes us and I think that's so sweet. We stayed in a room one year and that was a great experience. Beautiful room. Would definitely recommend.”

“The history behind this building and its fantastic location are the attraction! Just a walk across the street to the Alamo and Riverwalk. ? For a great view of the Alamo, try to get a high floor, low room number. ? The rooms are standard, well appointed, but ready for an update. The rumor is this place is haunted but we've never had a special visitor ? in our multiple stays.”

“This hotel is by far one of the best I have ever stayed at. We were in town for BMT graduation at the great service started the minute we walked through the door. Mauricio was absolutely amazing from giving us a recommendation for great food to shipping my bag to me because it was left behind!! The rooms were very clean and atmosphere in general was great! “I have been staying at the Stone Oak location for 2 months now and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Every time I walk in its always clean and smells nice. The location is perfect, there's plenty of stores and restaurants. The laundry room does have a convenient app so I can wash anytime of the day.”

“A special recognition to Mrs. Debra who was working the front desk Sunday May 10, 2026 at 10:00pm. She was so nice, very professional, and went out of her way to find us a room on the 1st floor. This was our first time staying at a Best Western Plus. We wanted something within 10 minutes of the Alamo without paying an arm and a leg. This location is secluded, quiet, safe and next to a whataburger for those of us that sleep in and miss the really good breakfast that is included with your stay. The grounds and inside were clean. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the a/c worked really well and there were no bugs and no mold. (This was a huge complaint in reviews at other hotels in the radius I was searching) Also, make sure to book your room online with the hotel website it will save you a lot of money.”

Kimberly and Daisy at the front desk went above and beyond for my wife and I. They simply made our trip feel special and memorable. We also had the pleasure of being waited on by Daniel at Cibolo moon, he was also outstanding. So personable. The golf and spa were obvious great, but the service was stellar and made the trip extra special.”
