I've banked at this credit union through several name changes from USAA credit to United SA to now United Texas, my only gripe was I've financed various vehicles with payments auto deducted. Once I was turned down. I have no idea how a person with a 100% payment history and has never had a late payment in his life can possibly be turned down on a lesser loan. They did approve the last vehicle I purchased at an incredible rate. So I will be coming to them in 3 years to refinance my 2023 F150. Other than that this company has been great. The working staff at the UTSA BLVD office are outstanding and they all greet me even when I come in the bank looking like a homeless person lol. Thank you and I look forward to many more years with this bank and more name changes lol.

We have visited the branch multiple times, each time we have dealt with Michelle Longoria. She has consistently been very attentive to our banking needs. She was friendly, professional, helpful, and always delivers excellent customer service. She is definitely an asset to United Texas Credit Union.

I am not a customer but their customer service is absolutely amazing! Unfortunately I didn’t get the names of the young ladies working but on this hot day while I was waiting for the bus I had gotten sick so I went into the building in hopes to used the restroom & get some air & the wonderful ladies helped me & offered me water & allowed me to wait inside for the bus I will forever be grateful

If I could put zero stars for this credit Union I would! I have been a member of this credit union for 40 years!! I put in for a signature loan, was going to have 18 months of payments taken out automatically. They denied my loan because Michelle advised me that social security and a pension are not considered work income. What sense does that make? I am so disappointed in the way my request was handled. Especially having to give them a reason for my loan! I am definitely looking for a new bank!

Bank is decent. For the most part theyve been good. The issues arise when you actually request something from them like a loan or refinance. They are quick to run your credit but disinterested in following up (def looking at you Mr Contreras). Conveniently on vacation until you force the issue. Stuff like that, when it doesnt feel like theyre interested in working with me, are the things that bother me. In a time when banks are losing trust in the public view youd think theyd adjust accordingly.

Michelle L. was wonderful in helping me when a hacker hacked my checking account. She went above and beyond to assist me. United Texas CU solved my situation completely and timely.

After ten years of being a member, I have been treated very unfairly at this credit union. Customer service is rude and a joke. I will not be doing business here any further.

Mitra & Lisa were amazing! It’s our first time getting a Texas bank bc we are from out of State and everything went smooth because of their help.

I've been looking for a house. I found one I liked and so I asked for an appraiser to come out. The deal went bad so I no longer needed an appraisal. I send the bank and email and left a message with the loan officer to let them know I no longer needed an appraisal.Without letting me know, the bank scheduled an appraiser. Three days later I get a call from my realtor asking why there was an appraiser at the house when I cancelled our deal.It turns out the bank hired an appraiser--without letting me know who it was-without notifying me when they would be there. No scheduling attempts with the seller, my realtor or me.-in spite of messages that the deal was off-and the appraiser went over our heads and let himself into the house.-They claim the realtors of either party could cancel this. For this to be possible they would have to know the appraisal was taking place. I had no way to pass along the appraisal was happening because I didn't know myself! The bank charged me for the surprise appraisal. I called trying to resolve the issue but it was remorselessly made clear to me that I wasted $635 on a surprise unwanted appraisal. It's unfortunate. It seriously surprised me given how well the bank has treated me in the past. I had expected more open communication.
