Very poor job customer service wise. Two people who were working there had no idea how to process a passport application and messed it up. No refund. Wouldn't recommend it.

The local post office is clearly struggling to keep up with the growth of the city. It’s consistently overcrowded, understaffed, and the lines move at a snail’s pace. Every visit feels like an exercise in frustration. The staff often come across as rushed or outright rude, which only adds to the negative experience. It’s disappointing to see such an essential service fall so far behind in meeting the needs of the community. This location seriously needs more resources and better customer service training to catch up with the demands of the growing population.

I would rather sacrifice my first born than to step foot in this post office again.

Poor customer service, poor maintenence of building, poor staffing solutions, not compliant with privacy of consumers.
Attached is an image of the available passport walk in times in San Antonio- listed at the Cedar Elm station. Not only do they not provide passport services at this time due to low staffing, but they also provide misinformation as to where to go. I have been to three of these locations and none of the walk in hours are accurate on the website or this paper. Good luck trying without an appointment and patience.
Also, Alvino at the Heritage post office has no customer service and needs to get fired before having an aneurysm from the stress. Clearly he was having a tough day at 8am cant imagine the end of the shift.

On Saturday 7/27/2024 I went to the post office to request access to my new address’ mailbox. They told me ( I believe it was Jessica the supervisor)it would take 3 weeks as they have to put a new lock on it. They asked me if I wanted to hold my mail at the post office for the time being and I said yes they also asked me if I needed to pull the mail that was already in the mailbox and I said yes. On Tuesday 8/6/2024 a package got delivered to my mailbox That I do not have access to. When I arrived on 8/7/2024 To the post office to figure out why my package was delivered to the mailbox I do not have access to. I initially for shipping and was told to go to the clerk down the hall by Linda. I went to see the line in the hallway was extremely long and went back to Linda to verify and she told me to go back down the hall. After waiting in the line for 40 minutes, the clerk told me I needed to go back to where I was initially to speak with the supervisor Jessica. By this time, there was already four or five other parties waiting to speak with Jessica and nobody was able to help me as they needed to contact my carrier. After being there for about an hour, I left as the process to fix something that was not done In the first place was awful. I have also tried to call their number numerous times and constantly sent to an automated message that calls the facility and then nobody ever picks up. If they plan on making mistakes and have supervisors be the only ones to fix the issue, they need to have a better process to rectify their mishaps. This is by far the worst Usps post office that I’ve ever had to deal with.

The guy at the passport section has a terrible work ethics. He clocked out during our appointment and ask us to schedule at another time. Disgusting.

I love this post office. Recently got a pass port and Jessica was absolutely the BEST! She was polite, knowledgeable and fast. She made shipping options very clear so that I would receive my passort on time for my trip. Thank you Jessica. I'll bring you back souvenir...

The very definition of inaction. A huge disrespect to the people and image of San Antonio. They do not care about your mail, they do not care for your time nor do they make even the slightest effort to get you your mail in time let alone your keys to ACCESS your mail. If you are actively seeking to ruin your day, pay this place a visit.
