I brought in a recently purchased Rolex submariner to be pressure tested for water resistance. They offered the authentication (opening case) to confirm and then close back and test. The staff was excellent and friendly. Service was quick and efficient without any marks left behind. They even placed my timepiece on the time graphed and showed me that there was some time discrepancies and also explained their service suggestions. “In 1992, after dating my future wife Diana for nearly eight years, I decided it was time to buy an engagement ring. Back then there was no internet, so I spent weeks driving all over San Antonio looking for someone I could trust. I was a young business owner just getting started, working with a limited budget, and I quickly learned that many places were more interested in selling me the biggest diamond than helping me find the right one.
Then I found Dennis Jewelry. What stands out to me after all these years isn’t what was said or sold. It’s how they made me feel. They treated me with respect, listened to what I could afford, and helped me find a beautiful ring without ever trying to oversell me. They understood what that purchase meant to me, and I left feeling confident and grateful.
When I proposed, my wife told me something I’ll never forget: “If you had given me a rubber band, it would have been the most beautiful ring in the world because it came from you.” Thirty-three years later, we’re still together, blessed with three wonderful children and now a grandchild. In many ways, that journey started with the ring I purchased from Dennis Jewelry.
Recently, my wife’s ring finger began swelling and she could no longer comfortably wear the ring. We brought it back to Dennis Jewelry after more than three decades. They carefully cut the ring, resized it, added gold where needed, and restored it beautifully.
What amazed them was that we still had the original receipt from 1992. My wife has always believed in saving receipts, and for once, it paid off. They were genuinely touched that we had returned after all these years, and I was reminded why I trusted them in the first place.
