“An outstanding experience. See the world as you've known it in the past. The rich history and childhood memories abound.Armadillo is closely associated with Vogt, the premier auctioneers in Texas. It makes sense that overlooked items may end up at ArmadilloThe people you meet here are wonderful to work with and very accommodating. In my experience, you'll find something that you couldn't have imagined. I don't think that'll be a problem.”

“Fun place to find odd things. I've been back 6 times or so and every time there's something new and interesting to see, explore, try to explain :) Good prices too! I bought some big letters for my office and some great wheels for a coffee table project I was building. Highly recommend for you to pop in and see what you can't live without!”

“The nicest upfront couple you can meet. They believe in a greater cause and enjoy what they do. The selection of unique items ensures if you can't find what you are looking for then you'll find something that is better that you didn't even know you were looking for. Very fun to go and sell items to as well cause whatever catches their eye they'll offer and gives you a good price. They see purpose in what others don't.”

The selection is diverse, ranging from small figurines to paintings, vintage electronics, typewriters, jewelry, furniture, and rugs. What makes this place unique is its composition of different vendors, offering a wide array of items that cater to various tastes and preferences in vintage and antique goods. The staff there are notably accommodating and friendly, adding to the pleasant shopping experience. This establishment has certainly earned a spot on my list of go-to places for antique shopping, and I look forward to returning whenever I get the chance.”

“Knowledgeable. Friendly. Helpful. If we could have bought the whole store, we would have. Wish we had gone to contactModern before all the chain furniture stores. So many great pieces. We bought a beautiful credenza, in amazing condition, and even got help loading it AND blankets, on loan, to bring it home. Well worth the visit. We’ll definitely be back.”

“I used to work very close to this place, and always wondered about it. Recently, I made a short trip to visit and explore. I really liked it. For those that do not know, Homestead Handcrafts sells handmade crafts and antiques, similar to Craftique. Each owner aligns their locale with their vision and sets their sale items to be peruse independently . Although, I have a similar spot in my area, refer to the above Craftique, I found Homestead Handcraft to be charming, with some pieces that peaked my interest. It is not cheap, but there were some worthwhile deals to be made and a great many collector items. It is worth a second visit for me.”

“Outstanding customer care, subject matter expertise, and attention- Elise is amazing- cannot say enough concerning how welcoming the staff were and the simplicity of the entire experience- major bonus: Elise’s input and design acumen was just what was needed to make our decision an easy one-she entirely took the worry out of the decision and guided us the entire way, to the extent of working after hours and arranging our delivery on a Sunday- positively choice customer service. Enthusiastically recommend this business- don’t waste time with huffy, inattentive competitors, go straight to Nancy’s Fine Furniture! Cheers and thank you!”

“We had the most wonderful experience shopping for our anniversary yesterday. John was very knowledgeable and their customer service is amazing. He noted that when you buy a piece there, he’s your jeweler for life. We will absolutely take that to heart and already talked about how we can’t wait to go back again for any jewelry needs we have in the future.”

“Nice morning of shopping for antiques and enjoying a hot chocolate chai tea and an earl gray scone with jam. I was the only customer and surprised at how long it took to get my order (10+ minutes). Tea was $8, but it was a large mug so justified the cost. I had already browsed through the antique store - should’ve ordered first, then browsed. I’ll know better for my next visit and might treat myself to a full tea experience for $31. ?”

“This is a mid century modern paradise. I first saw San Antonio Furniture Finders when I was eating next door at Julia's kitchen. For such a small space it is packed with unique finds like starburst clocks and sleek coffee tables. I love seeing what they have online because some of it is so cool like shaggy dining chairs or couches with built in tables. You just never know. They do a beautiful job of refinishing items and just bringing new life to stuff from the 50s and 60s.”

“Went into Homestead Handcrafts today and had a magnificent time! What really caught my attention was when I passed by a section where someone was advertising fabulous t-shirts and jewelry. Known here as the Prickly Pears booth in the store, it absolutely blew me away. If you're thinking about stopping by Homestead Handcrafts, just make sure Prickly Pears is your first, and last stop.”

“Incredible work at restoring broken ceramics, and more important, a 180 y/o oil painting, long neglected. Also refinishing of marred furniture. There some great little gems for sale in this shop. I highly recommend Treasured Restoration.”

“Covid compliance as well as a nurse on staff. This company was so professional as well as personal. The prices were right on target. I purchased a complete china set, and a few piece of furniture. she helped me arrange a mover and assisted me completely to the end of my departure (this associate has been there for years).I have been to several other estate sale companies and you will not get top professional service as you do here.I highly recommend June Hayes estate sale company.”

“I went here to browse and ask a few questions... even thought it was at closing time. What a great experience! Larry and Kirk spent a lot of time with me, and we ended up chatting about coins and exchanging a lot of great info. They genuinely helped me learn a lot of stuff. Teaching, explaining, and showing me. With ZERO pressure to buy anything. It's crazy... they never once implied that I needed to buy anything. He just spent his time teaching me.I didn't buy anything but I told him I'd come back with more questions. Larry gave me his cell phone number and told me to call if I ever needed to come by, even if they were closed on Fridays/Saturdays.This is a GREAT shop. It is completely different than every other shop I've experienced. Highly recommend Larry.”
