“I delivered my first child at Christus San Marcos (Women's Center). And let me just say my husband and I and our families were extremely surprised and happy with our whole experience start to finish. Everyone, including those who came and brought us meals or took our trash, was so incredibly kind and helpful. Everyone was helpful. The food was great - my husband and I got a celebration meal the next day after our child arrived! I felt heard and respected, I walked in with a birth plan and the nurses took extra precautions to ensure my goals were met to the best of their abilities. They had one room equipped for water birth/tub and rooms were spacious. My nurses took the time to educate me and to coach me through my labor, and I can't say thank you enough. Whatever I asked for was delivered quickly to me. I had a night nurse and lactation consultation come assist me as I struggled to breastfeed. I also required emergency surgery immediately after delivery ans felt in the best of care with my OBGYN in this hospital. Thank you Christus.”
