Motel 6 San Marcos is an older hotel right off the highway. Reviews note its fantastic location and excellent price, with many calling it fine for a short stay. Experiences with the staff are very positive, describing them as nice, helpful, and amazing. Some rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, though the property is older with a grimy feel and a sketchy parking lot. Noise from the highway can be an issue. The pool is open and the parking lot is often full. The consensus is you get what you pay for, with several guests stating they would return or go back again.
Stayed the night because of my business meeting. The room wasn't that bad, it was clean. No hot water. Not a real bad experience.

Restroom was dirty, the first room had made bed but when I pulled the covers their was clearly some type of dried cust fluid in the sheets. Room had a pungent smell had to change rooms for the night because it was late ,next day went to another hotel

Service is poor compared to my last visit. A young lady with multiple piercings, wouldn't help me with loud neighbors.
