“Roy and his wife are amazing people and they care a lot about the shop. My son and I went in one day to look for some Pokémon card and he gave my sone some cards and some pins. He loved them so much and the only down side is he wants to go see “Mr. Roy” every day?”
“Lots of vintage and some modern toys
Staff is very friendly and accommodating . I always enjoy visiting, the store seems to be growing more every time I visit.”
“Huge location with potential to be the best planet k.I could see this place being a hang out spot for all types of crowds. My nerd self thought "wow, this would be a chill place to play some mtg" but any type of event would be cool there.Selection of products in a like most planet ks I've been to but more spread out.”
“We checked out this store for the first time for my kids last minute gift shopping. Fell in love with this place and their friendly and helpful staff. They go above and beyond to assist you on what you’re looking for and their variety of items are great. Ended up buying a signed backpack from Tokyo Ghoul that our daughter will absolutely love. They helped us with the characters from shows our kids watch that we’re not very familiar with and are very happy with our purchases. I even won a red door mystery prize from their facebook page. We will definitely be coming back for whatever else they may have to offer. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”
“Its so cute and way less expensive than other Asian novelty stores. Got a cute lanyard and a pair of cute HK socks. I didnt have any of the problems stated below.”
“6/14/26 Always enjoy visiting Heroes & Fantasies on Pat Booker Road. The store has a fantastic selection of comics, graphic novels, collectibles, gaming supplies, and pop culture merchandise. The inventory is well organized, making it easy to browse whether you’re looking for new releases, back issues, or something unique to add to your collection.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and create a welcoming atmosphere for collectors of all ages. It’s a great place to spend time exploring, and every visit seems to uncover something new. Definitely one of the best comic and hobby shops in the San Antonio area.”
“I been coming to this location often for the last 6 months and notice very fast that the employees/workers had always been so open, welcoming, cool, nice, gentlemen, funny and just all in all cool again. I like coming to this place because well its game stop but also the people who work here. Today they had just went above and BEYOND. They told me about deals I didnt even know, they got me a figure that wasn't put out yet from their shipment in the back, and even offered to charge my phone when it was on 1. I asked for them to put their names on my receipt bc I just HAVE to put in great word. So thank you to Tim, Josh, Lane, and Nick also a guy with long blonde curly hair I dont think he works here anynore but all of them were super super cool and helpful I hope the best for all of them.”

“One of my favorite places to go. Everyone is so friendly, the owner is awesome too. And it seems to still be growing too, at least that’s my impression. They have a shopping area and room for activities and events! If you love Warhammer, be it 40k, HH, AoS, they got it. Same with Konflict, SW: Legions, Warmachine, Corvus Infinity and WarCrow. It’s there. Cards? Riftbound, M:tG, Pokemon, it’s there too plus tons of other things. I never thought I’d ever have a regular place to go to, like Cheers or something, but here we are! If you haven’t been here yet, check it out! 👍 It’s got a lot of dakka”
