“Gilbert Perez at the ACU at the Deer Park location is amazing! Today he helped get a loan. He is professional, friendly, and goes out of his way to provide the service that his customers need. Today he went over and beyond the call of duty. I had lost my wallet today and since ACU was the last stop I made, I went to Gilbert to see if I might have left it in his office. He checked his entire office but didn’t find it. He went further to check the camera footage but did not find anything. I left his office to go look further at home. He told me he was still going to continue looking further and would call me. I did find it at home and I started to call him to let him know but he called me first. I told him I found it and let him know how much I appreciated all his help. He did not have to do this but he took the time to help me. Again, he went over what he needed to do to help a customer. There needs to be more people like him. He first started out helping me with a loan but ended up going so much further to help me in finding my wallet. Thank you, Gilbert, for all that you did for me today. You are not only an incredible asset to ACU but also an incredible human being!”

“I have been banking with Wellby (formerly JSCFCU) since 1985. I had the pleasure of having my home mortgage with them after I moved to Austin and the entire process was top notch. There was a lot of rockiness with the changeover from JSC to Wellby, but things are slowly returning to what they used to be. Honestly, I don't understand the name change (couldn't they come up with a better name?), but their online banking still works great.I would give 5 stars, but there are two things that still need improvement:1. their online message system is sorely lacking. Do yourself a favor and call them directly if you need a question answered. If you send a message online, you will not get close to a suitable answer - ever. Totally worthless. Call them and speak to a real person who will help you and be knowledgeable.2. I have to play games every month in order to receive a favorable interest rate. Among the requirements to receive a better interest rate is to either have a loan with Wellby, or auto deposit, and do at least 8 debit transactions per month. Other banking institutions offer the same interest rate without the games. So, every month I do 8 little debits at the self check-out at Walmart. You should see the looks I get, but it's all legit.It is my hope that "Wellby" returns to the magnificence of when it was JSC.”

The manager was very nice and assured me she can order them for me. Unfortunately they didn't come when they originally told me they would be there, but they were nice enough to call me before they even opened for the day to tell me which I greatly appreciated!
