It feels like my knives are not sharp at all. It couldn't even cut through the paper that they put it in afterwards. I wish I would have checked if they were sharp when I was at the store”

If I cannot find it at their store they have been known to help me find it at other Ace stores. It has a good family feel and vibe to it and I do enjoy shopping there.”

“A week before Christmas, the hot water heater starts leaking. Our Bradford had gone out after 30 years of service, and we had to get a new one.
I chose to go to Ferguson because they were a supplier and sold Bradford directly to the public (Usually you have to go through a plumber to get a Bradford). Elaine was extremely helpful, educating me on what I was looking for and what to watch out for. I did my best to get the modern version of our same model, and she had politely warned me I might want to opt for the tall model that is skinny if ours is in the attic (Apparently all Houston area suburb attic entries are similarly sized..) The measurements were similar enough that I went ahead and got the short one. They only had one in stock in a beat up box, so she cut it open to show it to me just to make sure I could see what I was getting.
It was 1/4 inch off from fitting (They were right)... SO! I bring back the heater the Monday before Christmas and, true to her word, they took it back, no hassle, no issues. The service Elaine and the team at Ferguson provided was extremely polite, professional, and educative. I can't recommend them highly enough.”

“I went to The Home Depot to get lumber and needed it cut. A gentleman named Sam who worked in the lumber department had such a positive attitude, was very helpful and went above and beyond to make sure I had the right material for the job. It's hard workers like that that keep you going back.”
“Pretty good place to get your materials at. Comparing prices at other locations you will get more bang for your buck. Of course the cabinets are prefabricated but you get what you pay for. There are some decent tile or flooring selections but if you want more or variety, you just might as well go somewhere else. But the tile is good there for good price. Every time we go there to look at cabinets, they create a great Showcase. Again, it’s not a huge place but they have beautiful designs! If there is something you like and they don’t have it, take the catalog. You can order online or order it later. Which is what we are considering. They are able to look at Home plans. So consider to talking with a manger .”
“I recommend Home Depot but not today. Especially if you are wanting paint don’t come today. Employees did not acknowledge you that they will be with you in a moment. They either walked around, talked to each other or were busy on their phone. Would be nice an acknowledgment that’s all I ask. Don’t ignore use especially if I’m spending over $250 in just one stop. Not good for business. Yes and I was petty enough to video them.”

“Great hardware store. Picked up a dehumidifier to see if it will help the house feel cooler. Especially in the morning when the shower steam has warmed things up. They had several to choose from. Picked up some pool supplies and some garden supplies. Have a self check out and someone there to do it for you. ( I always use the checker- nice lady I want to help her keep her job). They had some of the lights off or were they out? Either way it saves energy and I liked it!”
“I want to say that the customer service employee who helped me with a return a few weeks ago was amazing. His name is Tyler. There was a situation with their cash register and it being close to closing time. Tyler was so patient helping me out and it was very appreciated.”
