Always give you a smile, welcoming, goes above and beyond. I'm so glad she's there and a wonderful asset to the Countryside team. They show sincere compassion at times of loss, and celebrate and love on the new additions to our family. They all have our respect. I drive an hour one way and the trust and peace of mind is so worth it. Looking forward to the completion of new building as well. :-)”

“Our Alpha male Ilya was under the weather for a while, not eating well, barfing now and then, hissing and growling us, and scuffling with his siblings. Today, I took him to see Dr. Brent Brewer at Stone Creek - he meowed and snarled all the way out there. After Dr. Brewer and I talked about his symptoms, and he gave him a thorough exam, he diagnosed him with a urinary tract infection and gave him an antibiotic shot with a two-week activity span. Ilya calmed down within a few minutes, was quiet on the way home, ate better later on this evening, and is now sprawled out on the living room coffee table with his eyes closed, completely relaxed.Wow - just wow. God bless the folks at Stone Creek for their continued excellence in caring for our four furbabies.”

“I struggled looking for a local exotics vet and decided to take my African Grey parrot to Dallas County Veterinary Hospital. The office staff were very friendly and organized. The vet tech was knowledgeable and friendly. Dr Shurtleff is very knowledeable and thorough in history taking and of avian medicine. He took the time to explain things thoroughly. They gave helpful educational handouts and customized instructions for the treatment plan. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful at drawing the lab work as my parrot was uncooperative! The bill was extremely reasonable. Plan on moving the care of my fur babies to this clinic. Very pleased.”

“My senior dog recently passed in her sleep/naturally. She was a 15+ year rescue old with severe heart complications and had been on medication/borrowed time for two years. I knew the day would come but it was still extremely difficult for me. That morning I called VCA and they were very gentle with me over the phone. I brought her in and again they were so considerate. “My daughter took my pom-dot in to have her put to sleep. Everyone there was so nice and understanding except one lady, she looks to be in her 50's and had long blonde hair. She was rude. The Dr was very understanding of my dogs contrition and sympathetic to the situation. I would recommend him to anyone.I would also recommend no to talk to that lady unless you want her to beunsympathetic”
