I’ve been here twice in two months, first time at 11 weeks pregnant for bleeding and second time at 19 weeks pregnant for weekend UTI symptoms. Especially at the first, they were incredibly busy, but they still got all my labs drawn and my vitals taken in a very reasonable amount of time. As soon as a room became available, I was in it. I may have waited an hour or so from the time I walked in the door. Everyone was so kind to me during a very scary time, and they brought me some snacks as it got later at night. I think I was there for about 6 hours total, just waiting on results of ultrasounds and second blood draw, but I was checked on regularly and it was a great experience.

For my second, I was there maybe an hour total. Sunday morning and all was quiet. Dr. Brown had clearly been there all night as he kept fumbling his words, but we were able to laugh about it and we all had clear understanding. We waited on results of a urinalysis and then they gave me my first dose of antibiotic and I was on my merry way. Super painless, and everyone so kind again, from front desk to vitals to registry to the room.

I’m very grateful to have such a competent and thorough emergency department be the closest one to my house. I can’t wait to deliver my third child here and will continue to visit here for all major (or ones my pregnant self can’t visit urgent care for) medical episodes.”
