I don’t know how this place gets great reviews, but I bought some shoes for running and 3 months later this is how they look. The shoes were tearing and the inserts were tearing and I got a really bad blister! Very disappointing and so much money wasted on these shoes. But the salesperson was helpful though, but I don’t think I will return. I’ll stick to academy from now on!

Recently visited Fleet Feet in Selma Tx and was thoroughly impressed with their staff and services. You get a full feet evaluation and a wide selection of affordable footwear for whatever activities you’re interested in. This store is for everyone not just extreme athletes. Prices were competitive with big chain stores like Academy or Dicks

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Fleet Feet. I went in looking for a new pair of running shoes and expected the staff to be knowledgeable and helpful, given their reputation. Instead, I found the staff to be unhelpful and uninterested in providing any real assistance.
The salesperson who helped me seemed more focused on making a quick sale than actually listening to my needs. They pushed a pair of expensive shoes on me without taking the time to understand my running habits or foot issues. When I asked for recommendations based on my specific requirements, they just pointed me to the most expensive options without any explanation.
The fitting process also left much to be desired. The salesperson barely looked at my feet or gait and didn’t offer any insights on the right shoe size or type for my needs. It felt like they were just going through the motions without any real expertise.
To make matters worse, the store was poorly organized and felt cluttered. It was hard to find what I was looking for, and there seemed to be a lack of inventory in various sizes and styles.
Overall, my experience at Fleet Feet was extremely frustrating. I left the store feeling like I wasted my time and money. I won’t be returning and certainly wouldn’t recommend this store to other runners looking for knowledgeable and attentive service.

The gentleman was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. I took my son to get some insoles and we were helped fast! My son has Spina Bifida, so supportive insoles is a MUST and the representative was so nice and walked me through the process.
