It seems that this company is good at many locations. I just happened to stop at the Austin Congress Ave. location and spoke to a sales associate there regarding a particular model shoe that was recommended by my podiatrist. He informed me that they didn't carry that as they were more oriented to runners. He suggested that I check with the Forum location in San Antonio.
I went to the Forum location and was greeted by Tayvon, to whom I gave a lot of challenges. He was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable. This location also didn't have the correct model shoe but Tayvon guided me in finding the right size to order from the warehouse AND it was on sale. Since it was being ordered, they offered to ship it directly to my house as I live quite a distance away.
I was quickly notified that my order was filled and on its way but it took a little longer to get to me than I would have liked. It was still within a reasonable time. After wearing the shoes for a few weeks now, I've been VERY pleased with the fit, which is very difficult for me. The shoes seem to be good quality too.
I decided to order several more pairs to have on hand when the current ones wear out. I called Tayvon at the Forum location and explained what I wanted and he again was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable. After trying a few purchase options, he suggested going to another store located closer to me and ordering through them.
After interacting with this company in two locations and by two different employees several times, I'm convinced on buying from New Balance Shoes and although I haven't yet been to the third location, I fully expect to be handled the same -- with courtesy and concern for MY wellbeing.

Immediately found what I was looking for & was greeted by the sweetest person Melanie who was very helpful. I hope to shop with her the next time I come in, it was such a pleasant experience.

I have been to this store a couple times and have only had great experiences with the staff. When I came in the other day to do an exchange on two shoes that I ordered the wrong size and color for we ran into some issues with the process due to how I had originally ordered the shoes. Tayvon and Nicolas were extremely helpful and patient with me and were eventually able to get everything figured out and exchanged. They both delivered the highest quality customer service and it was extremely appreciated. I will definitely be returning to this store in the future as these guys are willing to go the extra mile to help create a great customer experience!

I was in the store about half an hour before they closed and was the only customer. The sales associate was extremely nice and really listened to my needs. She had me get on the scanner to scan my feet. She told me about several of the options, and we landed on one to try on. I tried on 3 pairs, and the third one was perfect. They really seem to know their stuff, made me very comfortable and I left very happy.

In my quest to find a new pair of comfortable workout shoes I ran into New Balance. My first attempt went a little sideways I returned and gave them a second try. I'm so glad I did, I met Richard who was super helpful and made me feel like he was gonna do whatever it took to get me in a pair of shoes that was to my liking. Im super happy with my new pair. I fractured my foot and needed a supportive shoe as I recover that also helped with over pronation. Richie serviced me that day and provided me with the best customer service experience. Welcomed me upon walking in the door, screened my foot with their software then provided the shoes that were best for what I needed. He unboxed the shoe and even put the shoes on and took off for me. Talk about hands on customer service. He knew I was concerned if the shoe would work for me once I wore them so he explained their amazing return policy. I bought the 860 style and love them. I loved my experience so much that I took my husband to the store less than a week later to get shoes. My husband and I experienced the same great service again with Nico. I’m not one to normally do reviews but when you have a great experience these days it must be shared. Highly recommend this store for their service and shoes. Plus they honor a 15% discount for military! ?
