“The 5 stars are not overblown they are well deserved......I’ll try to make this short… Toyota 4x4 PU had tires rotated and within a few weeks notice a lot of squeaking from the suspension. Drove it for a few months but it was making crazy every time I had the window down. Stopped into a good looking mechanic shop in Tyler, after inspection they told me I need a replacement part… estimate $340 Went back to the tire shop to get their opinion they also thought I need a replacement part installed & sent me to Asay. The owner looked and said I don’t think you need a new part… try doing XYZ yourself and come back if that doesn’t work. I returned, he took it to his lift, looked at it and explained it was a simple fix. Within 10 minuets the squeak was gone and he said “Have a nice day… No Charge” While in the lobby I overheard him dealing with an older gentlemen concerned about cost and explained that there are three options based on lower quality parts vs mid range and high end parts saying “let me look into the pricing and I explain each option to you tomorrow” Honesty, integrity and a real desire to take care of the customer has become hard to find these days…. I found it at ASAY”

To top it off he came in well under the quoted price. Update: After several weeks we noticed some minor issues with the repair. Lakeside had to order some additional parts and it took a week but in the end its fixed right. And… no extra charge for the parts. Love it !”
