“Visited the outlet located at Portofino shopping center. Nice collection of items, mostly made in China or elsewhere. Self checkout is available, and the staff is also there to help with it.”

“Very messy, only one cashier for the thirty customers in the store with at least 10 of those customers in li e to check out. They never called for help or apologized for the wait. Get too big for your britches, and you won't be in business very long. Not everything is best bought at DT for 1.25 as the same thing can be gotten for 1.00 at Wal-Mart.”
“Very nice and clean , saw a review earlier about a lady complaining she was yelled at which is not true. I was there and the cashier had a line and was attending her customers when the other lady interrupted them multiple times and the cashier then pointed the item away out , sure she has an accent but she definitely did not yell. Another cashier also explained that to her. Anyways good staff, heads up the general price is $1.79 unless marked otherwise as of now but still not bad and is expected considering inflation you just gotta get what works for you as you would in different stores. Nothing is a dollar anymore because we’re past 2010 ?.”

“I needed a hanging light for enclosed, front porch and not break the bank. Over 30 hanging light fixtures, from one light bulb to eight light bulbs. They even had light fixtures that were brand new in the box, unopened. Then they had a 20% Off sale on light fixtures today. A three light, hanging fixture for $20.00. Sold!The people who say prices are higher than new don't have a clue what they are talking about. I hope they don't shop there. More good items for me.”

After living on this side of town for about a month I came into Dollar Tree..OMFG I walked around AMAZED of how NEAT and CLEAN it was..yes I knew what I needed to get but I didn't know Dollar Tree could look this CLEAN!! “Went in today 5/20 around 3:05pm, Julio manager was very friendly offered great customer service & another gentleman that offered to help me while I was grabbing a balloon. This by far is the best customer service ive ever received at any dollar tree in my life. I visit the 1960/kurkendahl location often & the customer service there is non existent. Please tell the staff they are doing a great job. Maybe the manager Julio who was my cashier today should visit the other dollar trees in Houston & give training classes on providing excellent customer service to shoppers. Please give this team a high five for today.”

“I have found some cool stuff at this location and the employees are actually engaging. Just a heads up about the parking. On the weekends there’s a lot going on, so you might not get a upclose spot. Also their baskets do go outside.”
