Hours: Animal Refuge Foundation (ARF) is a caring and dedicated organization that provides a safe and loving environment for dogs, and also cares for some donkeys and a miniature pony. The staff at ARF work tirelessly around the clock to ensure each animal receives individual attention, love, and proper care. They take pride in their efforts to keep the dogs healthy, with medications to prevent fleas, ticks, and worms, and they screen potential adopters carefully to find the best new homes. The facility is spacious, situated on many acres, and maintained with compassion and dedication, even in extreme weather conditions. Volunteers and donors play a vital role in supporting ARF, with donations of cash, dog food, igloo dog houses, and metal water buckets helping to meet the animals’ needs. The organization often helps with stray dogs and others in difficult situations, sometimes unable to take in new animals due to capacity but always striving to assist. The staff’s love for the animals is evident, and their hard work and kindness leave a positive impression on everyone.
