We came to him out of the blue because my car started making a god awful smell. We knocked on his door, he came out, jumped in the car with us, and not only identified that it was an issue with a catalytic converter BY SMELL ALONE, he also identified a hub assembly issue in my car just by hearing it drive. This was a catastrophic failure risk, so his identifying this may have saved my life

I found them to be Very helpful, assisted with the extended warranty, diagnosised the problem and after the warranty company declined my coverage. Hillin's auto repair provided me with a very reasonable estimate. Then they did the work found an issue keep me in the loop the whole time and still got the job done for less than the estimate.
All around it was a wonderful experience.

“In today's world it's hard to find someone trustworthy and not out to bamboozle you. I found this shop based off a tik Tok review. I called and spoke with Paul about possibly needing an alternator replacement due to a scan done at AutoZone. He told me to bring it in and he would take care of me and diagnose it for. He did a complete scan checking all of my systems and found nothing wrong. He was patient and explained things to me. Being a woman it is easy to get taken advantage of in this type of scenario however Paul was honest. Despite not needing any work done at that time I would definitely recommend him and this shop for your repairs solely based off this interaction I had. They also have financing and will work with you to be able to get what you need done. I will definitely be calling them if Need be down the line.”

“After going to selective auto parts stores around San Antonio for a distributor rotor couldnt find the right one. Yes they were n stock but buying and returning was a hassle... Nt the right fit.. getting so frustrated my mind had a complete brain fart and snap.. Gonzalez auto parts .. I usually go to the one off right but since I moved I didn't want to go so far.. I am so thankful to this auto part store being on sw military. So I go and they gave me a rotor, but I was so hesitant on getting it because I was having issues of the ONE that fits my shaft.. o I'm so blessed.. the lady and man there they gtd that it was gonna fit.. bless their hearts and was right.. “We were having issues with our battery after the winter storm that rolled through Texas. We had replaced the battery on our own, but it wouldn't hold a charge and we feared the worst with the alternator. They quoted us a steep price because the part was on the expensive side. When they came out to look, they found that the bolts weren't holding right on the battery, tightened them, and made sure our battery was working fine. Lo and behold, that was the only issue. They charged us strictly for the fee to come out and to reshelve the part, and all in all, it was hundreds of dollars cheaper than if they had just replaced the alternator and called it a day.”

“I went in for an alignment. The young man (Vin) was very thorough and honest. They could have charged me whatever they wanted and I wouldn't have known better. He said all was good with the alignment, adjusted my steering column a few degrees (not much), let me know about getting new tires soon and took it for a test drive. They charged me a minimal service fee. Honesty and good service is what brings people back. Keep up the good work! God bless y'all.”
“I always have the best experience at this oil shop. Today I stopped in for an oil change and it was awesome service as usually. One gentleman even went as far as telling me to have a good day knowing that I was going through a rough patch in life. He was kind and very caring. People don't care anymore so I wanted to make sure he was recognized and noticed for his kindness. He is a slender young early 20s fellow with brown hair and bangs.
