802 N Crockett Ave, SonoraMy husband and I were passing through Sonora and searched Google Maps for a good local restaurant with 4+ stars. We came across Pit Stop BBQ and, to our pleasant surprise, saw it had a 4.7 rating & now we know why!
We arrived about 20 minutes before closing and Lauren took great care of us. She was friendly, provided wonderful customer service, and made us feel completely welcome to dine in even though it was close to closing time.
My husband ordered the sliced sausage sandwich with creamed corn and chips, and I had the chopped brisket sandwich with coleslaw and potato salad.
Everything was delicious! The creamed corn was especially good, and I loved the coleslaw - it has pineapple in it!
The restaurant was also very clean, and they had a really neat bottled soda drink selection. I had the sweet peach bottled soda and my husband had a sweet tea.
Great food, a clean and welcoming place, and excellent customer service.
