Sparklight is a huge SCAM. Our internet didn’t work half the time. When i cancelled, they had no where for me to return the modem. So they gave me some address in Houston. The modem was returned to UPS stating no one picked it up. Now they want $102 or get sent to collections.

It’s good in some area but some areas it’s horrible but I’m giving it 5 stars because it’s good wear I live but the prices $100+ a month for their fastest Internet understandable but geez

I would like to give this company a great review, but with the service I have received in the past 4 months I am not able to do that. I primary issues started when I had the internet installed at my new apartment in Cleveland,Tx. It only took about two weeks to receive the modem. A service tech did a so so job of hooking it up. They did not ask where I wanted it. It was placed just inside by the front door. The other issues from this company is a continuous break is service. It only takes 2 or 3 days to reconnect internet service. The Spark light mobile app shows you do not have service, but you might have internet service at home. The company took about 2 weeks to fix service after the Hurricane in July 2024. This is still not counting the drops in service when ever they just happen. I will change internet provider as soon as I find a new company. I will give this internet provider 0 stars for a rating. I've lived in the Houston area for over 55 years. This company is in the top 3 of the worst service providers I have ever delt with.

If you have other options for an ISP, don’t do business with Sparklight.
Our bill fluctuates every month for seemingly no reason causing us to have to call in and have it adjusted.
Our service is regularly out for days at a time and Sparklight regularly lies about both the reason for the outage and the length of the outage.
Our service has been out for two days and Sparklight’s Twitter(X) account says it is due to a power outage in Sour Lake.
I checked with the power company in Sour Lake (Entergy) and there is no such outage.
I replied to their X account with this information and they promptly changed the reason for outage to “damage from hurricane Beryl”….. The hurricane was weeks ago and service has been up during that time.
In conclusion, they are a dishonest company who overcharges for their service and regularly lies about the reasons and length of their many, many service outages.
Starlink is the future.

Internet Constantly crashes for no apparent reason out of nowhere, lack of actual technical support, and God forbid if it's raining extremely slow Internet.

Says high speed internet. Would hate to see a slow speed! Channels cut in and out. Will show "no video & no audio ". Happens all the time.

Ronald L. was the tech that came out to fix our internet. Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Very pleased with his help. Fixed the issue immediately.

Our technician Marcus was very knowledgeable and personable. He was very efficient on the install and stuck around long enough to make sure we didn't have any problems getting our devices back up and running. Excellent customer service.

Lying Con-artist with service that doesn’t work. Tell you that you have to have business to get service when your neighbors have residential, then try to charge you $6000 for service that just cuts out. No local employees answer phones, only out of state company owns and subcontractors that will rob you.

This company sucks. They have scheduled 2 appointments at my house and still have had no technician show up. Cable goes and comes and always due to outages. Will change cable companies as soon as another is availableHope they go under.

If I could give them a zero star I would! The internet is always out and the price is way too high. You can call and call and they will not fix the issues! Terrible service! I do NOT recommend!

Literally the worst wifi ever DO NOT GET!! I work from home and it’s CONSTANTLY going in and out for entire DAYS. I call and all I get is “there’s no estimate of when it’ll get back on and there’s nothing I can do.” SO glad I’m switching providers because sparklight SUCKS!!
