“Not sure why Michael’s company is not looking into finding a bigger store. This store is so cluttered, a mess and it’s not handicapped accessible. Pretty sure in the back of the store goes against fire code. Come on Michaels company do better! Get them a bigger store”
“I started crocheting only about a month ago, and On the Lamb quickly became one of my favorite places to learn and feel comfortable as a beginner. Their Thursday crochet get-together is such an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and supportive.
What really stood out to me was how willing everyone was to help. I was working on a personal project — crocheting a version of my friend’s cat — and even though I was still learning, people were happy to answer questions, give suggestions, and encourage me along the way. No one made me feel out of place or inexperienced; instead, it felt like a genuine community of people who love crochet and want others to enjoy it too.
The atmosphere is relaxed, positive, and inspiring. It’s the kind of place where you can sit down, work on your project, learn something new, and leave feeling motivated and confident.
If you’re looking for a local yarn shop with a strong sense of community, I highly recommend On the Lamb in Grapevine, especially their Thursday crochet get-togethers. It’s a wonderful space for beginners and experienced crocheters alike.”
“Super knowledgeable folks and incredibly helpful. He takes the time to visit with you and understand what you need. Be doesn't try to up sell you, but he'll get you what you need. I know hobby shops like this are a dying breed, and it's a shame. This is a good, old fashioned model train store and it's wonderful.”

“Avery is the best rc enthusiast/shop owner I've ever met. Like seriously nice guy. My kid was smiling like he is now when we went to the shop and my nephew has joined in. 9 hours in one day. Didn't even ask for a break or their Nintendos none of it. Trainville is where it's at for them. Fully recommend this to enhance your kids imagination over their tablets and such. “I have been going here for a while now and they are always super friendly, constantly have new inventory, and always carry the newest sets of many different TCG. Whether you're looking for sports cards, or pokemon they are very likely to have what you want. Prices are on point and affordable on all of their products.

“I had never visited a Hobby Lobby before, and what an interesting place! They have just about everything for hobby enthusiasts—from coin flips and specialty tools to balsa wood, collectibles, and memorabilia. It's a fun store to explore, with a huge selection and something for almost every hobby. Highly recommended!”
“I simply adore this store, just like other Hobby Lobby locations, it’s a crafter’s paradise. There’s so much to choose from, whether you’re into sewing, home décor, seasonal decorations, painting, or DIY projects. I can easily spend hours browsing all the aisles and still feel like you haven’t seen everything.
The store is well stocked and organized, making it easy to find what you need (and a few extra things you didn’t plan on buying). There’s also plenty of free parking.
The staff here are always super nice and helpful, which really adds to the overall positive vibe of the store.
One important thing to keep in mind: they do not accept contactless/tap-to-pay payments. In this day and age, that’s definitely something to be aware of before heading to checkout.”
“I was looking at creating a balloon bouquet and a staff member was so helpful in explaining pricing and amount of balloons. It was fun picking them out and planning what I wanted for my daughters 1st birthday. 4 stars because an item I purchased was broken, still functional but frustrating.”
