H-E-B Bakery is part of a massive, clean, and well-organized grocery store known for very nice and helpful employees. The bakery itself offers a variety of fresh and affordable items, including donuts for .68 cents, cronuts, canolis, individual cupcakes, pastry creme puffs, and fresh rolls. Many customers love the bakery and find it a great stop. However, some reviews note inconsistencies. One customer reported a disappointing Boston cream pie that was made too thin and overcompensated with chocolate, ruining a birthday evening. Another noted a marked decrease in the size of the fresh rolls, which have become much smaller. While the store is a typical and generally liked H-E-B with excellent produce and meat, parking is often insufficient. I generally I like this store it's typical of H-E-B , parking is never enough . I buy the fresh rolls weekly for my lunch and I've seen a marked decrease in size from ~ 6" to around 3" . I understand trying to keep costs but 50% sizing down is ridiculous.

Nicest grocery store I've been to. Clean, organized, well stocked. Very nice employees. I have never been disappointed with produce and meat. This is definitely my go to location for grocery shopping.

They always have the best cakes! And they even have the smash cakes for 1 year Olds.
