“They have excellent 8 piece BBQ Baked Chicken served from the Hot Deli. They store is clean and small and full of healthy goods you can't find in many stores. It is worth a trip especially for the Hot Deli chicken.”
“Goodwoods in Old Town Spring is, I confess, a thoroughly delightful shop. It has charm, taste, and that increasingly rare quality of being run by people who seem to care what they are doing. The owner deserves high praise for cultivating a place with real character, and the staff carry themselves with warmth, competence, and just enough polish to make the experience feel elevated rather than merely transactional.
There is a quiet confidence to the store, a sense that it knows how to present itself without collapsing into vulgar self importance. One feels attended to, not managed. Welcomed, not processed. This, in retail, is no small accomplishment.
And yet, let us not become delirious. However pleasant the shop, however admirable the owner, however gracious the staff, one cannot ignore the broader cultural burden hovering in the background. The British may have produced some respectable things, but when measured against the French in matters of taste, refinement, elegance, and civilization itself, they are simply outclassed. This is not prejudice. It is housekeeping.
Four stars.
Why not five? Because the distance between French excellence and English sensibility remains, sadly, too vast for even the loveliest shop to overcome.”
“What I ordered was good, the matcha tea is good, up on entering You have to go to the counter to order my third time there yet They don't acknowledge you when walking in young people they'll continue talking as if you're not there.... CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY”

This HEB was My grocery store of choice in the neighborhood. Long before the other corporate entities let me know I’m not valued and now I will never step foot into another location.
Thank you for the incredible customer service actually having cashiers on the registers at anytime of day the superior deli, and a clean well stocked store. Would give 10 stars if I could.”
“This was my first time here. It was a unique experience. They had very cheap items. I do like the concept of the bring your own bags. The only thing is that it seemed not like a supermarket and more like a regular mom and pop market. That's not a bad thing for some, but I was just expecting something else. Still great though. The cashier/sticker was helpful. There was a manager there that just walked away when he saw us instead of helping us, so screw that guy lol.”
“We're long time aldi fans but this store really stands out as far as customer service and store cleanliness/organization! Especially one employee, Brianna. I usually have 3 kiddos under 5 in tow and Brianna is always so kind and helpful. Brightens our day! I live equal distance between two aldis and this one is where we always go thanks to the employees ❤️ you are so appreciated?”

Furthermore, you can discover excellent starter plants for cultivation. It's a fantastic destination for both culinary and horticultural needs.”
“HEB is always great. Their prices may be a little bit higher than Walmart, but they also carry items that Walmart doesn't have. We go here specifically for the selection of Mexican and Latin food items as well as their pot sticker dumplings in the sushi area. Their produce almost always looks good. I would like to see a little better way of displaying their fresh herbs other than just piling them in a crate in the refrigerated section, but that's just personal preference. Checkout people are always friendly and helpful. We even talked to the security guard who was helpful, going above and beyond his job to help get a riding cart to the car because I just had surgery and can't walk far. It's always a positive experience going to HEB at FM 2920 and Holzwarth Rd.”

“This is my local HEB and I wanted to leave a review on my recent experience with the Bakery Department. I planned a very last minute birthday for my daughter and her theme for the party was a "Glow Party" . I can't remember exactly who assisted me with my order but I believe her name was Marily . I explained to her the theme of my party and my ideas for the cake . It was perfect !!! I was so happy with the outcome and as always the taste .”

Keep an eye on your purses. Ignorant scum people trying to steal your stuff out of your shopping carts when your not looking. Keep them on your shoulder and not in the basket. “this H.E.B location is one of the best supermarkets in Houston..
**the SEAFOOD department is outstanding. The selection of fresh fish, shrimp, and other seafood is impressive. Everything is well-displayed and looks incredibly fresh. I picked up some salmon, and it was of the highest quality I've found in the area.
*The DELI department is another highlight. Whether you're in the mood for freshly sliced meats, cheeses, or a ready-made sandwich, they have it all. The deli team is always friendly and efficient, ensuring you get exactly what you need.
*the PRODUCE section: The fruits and vegetables are always fresh, vibrant, and plentiful. I love how everything is neatly organized, making it easy to find what I'm looking for. They also have a fantastic selection of organic produce.
*The PRE-CUT MEAT section is another favorite of mine. Whether you're looking for steaks, chicken breasts, CKICKEN WINGS or ground beef, the quality is consistently excellent. The pre-cut options are convenient and save me a lot of time when meal prepping.
*fresh ground COFFEE and coffe beans: They have a wide variety of beans from different regions, It's a coffee lover's paradise.
*The CHEESE section is a treasure trove for any cheese enthusiast. From local artisanal cheeses to international varieties, the selection is vast and varied.
*PET FOOD section is fantastic! They have an incredible variety of brands and types of pet food, catering to all kinds of dietary needs and preferences. The shelves are always well-stocked and neatly organized, making it easy to find exactly what I need.
*ICE-CREAM section is a dream come true. They stock an incredible range of flavors and brands, including some unique and local options.
Lastly, the *FROZEN MEALS section is perfect for those busy nights when cooking from scratch isn't an option. The variety is extensive, from healthy choices to indulgent comfort foods. The quality of the frozen meals here is top-notch, making it easy to enjoy a delicious meal with minimal effort. MY FAVORITE is the Spring rolls
Overall this H-E-B Supermarket is an absolute 5 star Supermarket. Definitely recommend it.”

I had such a busy day and couldn't make it into the store to order it, so I had to order over the phone. I was scared of how it was going to turn out, but hoped for the best. You nailed it with the turquoise, hot pinks, neon orange and lime green. All the extra details you added to it was "icing on the cake" -no pun intended! :) The photo doesn't do it justice at all compared to real life. “It’s going to be very hard to find a Hispanic (mainly of Mexican descent) in Houston that does not know “La Michoacana Meat Market” … “La de las carnes marinadas” This grocery chain of 135 or so locations is well-established all over Texas and parts of Oklahoma. Fresh produce (some stores have better selection than others) and marinated beef cuts ready for grilling are their speciality. The prepared-dish section includes Mexican staples such as arroz rojo, guisado de res, menudo, Nopalitos, and other delicacies; all followed and beloved by the blue-collar crowd, as well as by the office workers. Some say that there are more nutrients and substance in a couple of Tacos al Pastor from La Michoacana than a burger from the big chains. And tacos are less expensive. Photos to follow”

“1st Boston Cream Pie my family has ever thrown away. Normally my family fights over the Boston cream pie, this time it was nothing but a waste. When I spoke to Veronica in the bakery she stated that they have the same recipe each time. However, it looks like they made the cake really thin and just compensated it with the chocolate. Total waste of money and ruined our birthday evening.”
“I am obsessed with HEB and this is one of my favorite locations. Pros: There is always an excellent selection of produce, butchered meats, and a really great bakery. Everyone is friendly and helpful and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. With the self checkout option you can get in and out quickly. Cons: This location stays busy. It may take a minute to find a decent parking spot.”

She suffers from short term memory loss from a bad car accident and a lot of people get frustrated with this. He was very patient and helped us out immediately. Thank you Kevin. “I am from Chicago while visiting Houston, I visited Ararat market. I enjoyed everything and they had very great options from homemade salads, breads, dips. We bought their homemade hummus, honey cake dessert and marinated steak and chicken kabobs, puff pastry, salat olivia . Everything was so tasty especially the kabobs. The owner was very kind and offered to marinate the meats for us. Our guests were very impressed by everything. I will definitely be back on my next visit.”
