I always dread going into the Ulta store. Today, however, I left feeling very positive about my shopping experience. I was assisted by BRi in chosing a new brand of makeup and the interaction was pleasant and very helpful. Bri actually LISTENED AND HEARD my request and then had knowledge about the products and explained which product ticked the most boxes of my request. Not pushy yet helpful ,friendly,and knowledgeable. Very different ususal experience. Thanks to Bri.

DO NOT GET YOUR MAKEUP DONE HERE!!!If I could give negative stars I would. I was scheduled for a 3:15 everyday makeup session, I showed up at 3:15, and was not seen to until almost 3:25. I had an event to get to at 5:00 pm and had to leave at 4, I made this known. My "artist" was not ready for me and we had to walk around the store to get supplies, I do not know if this is standard practice. I made my preferences known and she was either not listening or not taking them into consideration. The makeup application itself was an absolute disaster, she mixed a primer and a not at all match tinted moisturizer that should not have gone together, and as she was applying it, it was melting off my face, streak, patchy and ugly. I asked her to start over, unfortunately with the same result. By this time I had to leave for my event. So, told her to wipe everything off, I had to rush to BUY NEW MAKEUP AND BRUSHES to attempt to fix the bad job she did and did it myself in the parking lot. I went into Ulta prettier than when I left. I had never felt so ugly than when I was looking in the mirror at the job she did.

The worst experience ever!!!! My recommendation to anyone reading this post: DO NOT GO HERE! Customer service lousy. Why? Because your client had to wait 20 minutes for your arrival!! Your colleagues didn't even know if you were in the building.After your appearance, you did not make any conversation nor did you ask your client what they wanted. Then you directed your client to a sink that was not even cleaned out yet-is this not disgusting! No that is just down right nasty! No conversation from the hair stylist until her scissors were in hand and then the shoddy job begins. This is not what I expect from Ulta Salon or their professional stylist. This could have been done at home . Oh, did I mention there weren't any products put in the hair at the styling station? Also there is no blowout, why? Let me guess maybe the stylist was late and I guess she had other things on her mind! Disgusting and disappointing!!

Everything seems to excluded from coupons and you have to purchase on line to get free gift. This really sucks. Who wants to wait 7 days to get something?

I had a wonderful experience at this Ulta today. I'm new to make up and had a list of products to grab. Jykevia greeted me when I walked through the door. She helped me find everything on my list and even held my basket for me?. She was knowledgeable and patient, especially when I confused contour with concealer?. She was wonderful. Her service was definitely above and beyond!!

Love going to ulta in general, I don't go often cause I can't trust myself but every time I go the staff is always super helpful.

Maricela was amazing!! She knew her products and was able to not only find the right products for me, but also color match it perfectly with my skin tone. She was also incredibly sweet and is a great hype woman??????? Bri was also helpful and kind! She helped me find the perfect concealer. Love this location!

Came in earlier tonight looking around for some lip tints and was over by the counter (not once did anyone approach to help.) I overheard a girl ask the cashier if they carried a specific brand and showed her a picture on her phone, the cashier told her no and the girl left. As soon as she was out the door the cashier turns to the male next to her and scoffs and says “that literally looked like something they sell at the dollar store, or even something like shein or temu” and they both began laughing and making more disgusting degrading comments. I cannot believe I witnessed such cruel behavior from the staff acting this way in front of other customers with no shame.

I have found my new Ulta store. This ulta is much bigger than the I45 cypress store and has way more products (or maybe it's the way it's organized). Neat and nice, and the associates were nicer (even asked about my points, which you had to pull out of the associates at 45). It's definitely worth the 5 Xtra miles to get there.

This is my favorite Ulta store. Well displayed, great lighting, lots of parking.Two areas of improvement are that they are frequently out of stock of items and some of the sales staff could be more helpful. On the positive side, most employees are knowledgeable and helpful.

This was my worse ulta experience ever. There were associates everywhere on the floor. Not one came over to help me out or to give me information on any of their products. I will stick with Sephora .

Giselle did a lovely job on my makeup. ?I purchased some products that didn't work out and was able to return them easily.(They were unused--the makeup I'd had done didn't stay on, which unfortunately is normal for me with oily skin--not their fault.)

My normal hairstylist was on vacation for Mother’s Day, so I decided to make a hair appointment with Ulta ☺️ The day of my appointment I called to confirm my appointment (wash, blow dry and flatiron) and the stylist confirmed it. During our conversation I mentioned I had textured hair, just to inform her of my hair type. She then responded that she doesn’t specialize with textured hair ? Sweet lady, she offered to call around to another Ulta location to do my hair however they were all booked due to prom. Unfortunately, she went ahead and canceled my appointment.My issue is not with the stylist, I honestly appreciate her honesty. My issue is with Ulta not hiring a cosmetologist who is able to due all hair types.
