I wasn't going to write a review, but I had a bride-to-be ask me about my experience with CJ's Masterpiece. Here is what I told her: I booked CJ's Masterpiece's bar service as they were one of only two options my venue, The Juliana, allowed for the bar.
Brandon was the guy we worked with at CJ's. He was terrible at communication. And that was just the start. We paid them for 6 hours of byob service and two signature cocktails ($3,783.34). We were concerned about only having one bar, but Brandon assured us it would be okay. It was not. Guests were constantly waiting for drinks.
Complaints by guests heard after the wedding day were:
1) They were pretty bad at timeline. We wanted champagne poured for speeches and midnight. They forgot on both occasions so guests were stuck waiting then as well.
2) The bartenders did not practice the cocktail recipes provided ahead of time so they were consistently making them incorrectly.
3) The bartenders also initiated taking shots with guests on multiple occasions. With alcohol that we provided no less.
4) bartenders started serving champagne in regular short cups even though we provided plastic champagne flutes. probably due to the fact that they did not assemble these in advance. We did not run out as they packed the flutes at the end of the night.
5) lastly, with only two restrooms on the property, one of the bartenders spent considerable time in one of the restrooms which inconvenienced the guests.
Overall, they lacked professionalism and were a letdown for an otherwise incredible night.

We used CJ’s the day after thanksgiving for a private event at the Buffalo Soldiers Museum. As it was a post thanksgiving event, we decided to go with Tapas and to include a variety of selections that would be different from thanksgiving dinner.CJ’s OVER delivered - the set up was very pleasant and looked great. The food was delicious, very balanced on flavors, and hot. The service was top notch !The best combo was the Lamb Chops, the Chicken lollipops, and the mozzarella and watermelon skewers - this trio almost made everyone forget just how good the sliders were (they were great with fried Mac & Cheese).CJ’s combination of food and service makes them a redo anytime we need catering.

We were all blown away by how delicious the food and the service was ! I can’t wait until I have another event so that I can book again! Totally worth the price !

CJ’s Masterpiece delivered a delicious and professional experience! We used them for my Mother’s 70th Birthday Dinner at the Buffalo Solider Museum. They provided a seated & plated dinner. Everything looked amazing and tasted even better. I highly recommend them and can wait to use them again!

Highly recommend CJ’s Masterpiece! The entire process was seamless thanks to Brandon, such amazing customer service! Chef CJ outdid himself! The food was beyond amazing and beautiful. Well executed!

Cj and his team did a great job. We had some confusion after guests ignored our seating chart and moved seats but CJ and Brandon did everything they could to make sure everyone got what they wanted. Great job by all!!
