“I mainly come to this location because my dog gets groomed here and it’s always a great experience.
The groomers are knowledgeable and nice. They always treat my dog right and also the people at the register of Petsmart are helpful and kind.”
“What a great experience. I have so much to say- When they found out I was fostering/adopting they supported me with their adoption program and sent me home with a bunch of goodies- a whole bag of food, raw goat milk, probiotics, another bag of frozen food, I’m not sure I’m remembering everything right now. All that for free !!! I went there stressed worried what I have to do.. but everything was so easy and I didn’t even have to pay anything. ?! I also learned that the owner is a holistic nutritionist for pets, and they have nothing in the store that he wouldn’t give his own pet pets. I was incredibly honored to learn such a person exists, and I thank him on behalf of all the pets and their humans. I don’t think I’ll ever go to another pet store again. I have found my new pet partner, we will keep going back for our future needs. Also sidenote- my pet loves the food.! he munched down his first meal. I’m still working on finding his flavor of treats. And especially because he was a big dog, they made my life so much easier, and I felt supported. I also love that I don’t have to worry about any funny ingredients in the food. My plan was to foster, continue fostering so I will be bringing in more pets into my life, and I couldn’t be happier to have found a new pet partner.”

“I’m so glad I started taking my puppy, Ts’amtii here for her first ever grooming! We’ve seen Charlie several times now for her usual groom and there is a thousand reasons why I recommend Barkin Creek, especially Charlie, but I’ll keep it brief: wonderful salon style appointments, Charlie is very skilled, knowledgeable and efficient, lovely humans, animal people, affordable and competitive grooming prices for the service you receive. Charlie is always wonderful and has helped me learn how to care for my first Shih Tzu coat and set my girl up for the best care. I can’t recommend him enough!
2026 - we’ve been trying to find Ts’amtii’s best haircut and Charlie is so open to new ideas and suggestions, and today we explored a new cut that I’m dead on, it’s SO cute!! Charlie is just the best, he’s our girl’s “Uncle Charlie” for a reason, I can’t recommend him enough. Him and Paul have always been amazing - awesome humans!”

“We have a reactive cane corso that we often take to desensitize him to other environments, we brought him in and the guy that works there (forgot his name, but he owns a presa canario) was so kind! He was super knowledgeable and helped us pick out raw-diet food for our dog, and he was so helpful being apart of our training, keeping his distance but being confident. We will be returning just to say hi!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Shaggy Dog and I’ve only been a customer for one month!
We have a 10-month-old Golden Retriever who was dealing with severe stomach issues back in January. After multiple vet visits, prescriptions, and tests, we still didn’t have real answers or lasting relief. We were exhausted and worried.
On a whim, we stopped into Shaggy Dog in Buda and spoke with the owner about everything we’d been going through. He took the time to really listen and gave thoughtful, personalized recommendations for a new food regimen. We decided to give it a try and I am so glad we did!
It’s like we have a brand-new dog! He’s more energetic, happier, has perfect bowel movements, and hasn’t had a single tummy issue since switching his diet. The difference has been incredible.
This is the kind of care and knowledge you only get from a specialty store where the owner truly stands behind his products. We would much rather invest in our pup’s health now than continue racking up vet bills for emergency visits.
I highly recommend Shaggy Dog to anyone in the area. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely cares about the well-being of your pets. Thank you for giving us our happy, healthy boy back!”

“Wally Beds are quality products that our dog adores! He loves stretching out to sleep on the throw on our bed and then alternating with his own cuddle bed in the family room. The material is excellent quality that is soft, durable and washes nicely. We are getting a girlfriend for him soon so we are ordering more “comfy feels” to make her feel at home. “Bar-none, the best grooming our dog has ever, ever had! Y’all, we just moved to town with our six-year-old Pomeranian (who’s had many a pro haircut in her life), and are just DELIGHTED by how adorable and plush she looks after her time at Woof Gang. My kids and I shrieked and clapped when we saw her, honestly, and she is currently prancing, wiggling and showing off like you wouldn’t believe.
I think a woman named Kendra handled things today, but please correct me if I’m wrong. What a wonderful, knowledgeable, skillful artist she is. Wow!”

“First time here.. and currently the only restaurant for dogs (and cats) in Texas…. But went be for long …. Tempted to try it myself, it smelled so good, but have to lead by example as they would get scolded if they ate my food without permission so I’ll not eat theirs ….Staff so friendly and knowledgeable. “I had my grooming appt cancelled by Adam at Pet Supplies Supplies on wm cn & manchaca because I made a comment that my pup I've had since Oct had no fleas & did not need flea medication. I was asked to leave. I was distraught & overcome with emotion. Fortunately I called Petco which was close by on Brodie Lane and they were more than happy to take me in & take care of my pup no questions asked. Petco has a new loyal customer. Shame that I have been going to Pet Supplies since October and they have lost one. TJ (mgr) is AWESOME. He Truly does care for his customers and their pets. And not the money they bring in. Kudos to the staff Also. 10 Stars.”
