Today I walked in to ULTA, I was clueless looking for a toner. A wonderful person named ID? Or IDEY? With turquoise hair came to my rescue, she was so helpful, honest and knowledgeable. I was there for 20 min getting very frustrated. ID smiled and gave me honest opinions. Thank you ULTA for this wonderful employee who soars with eagles! Thank you ID. Ronnie Ann M

I recently got my hair cut at the salon with Paul. Just a wash, trim, some layering, and face framing. Nothing crazy. The absolute best haircut I probably have ever had. EVER. I have never been completely 'over the moon' about how my hair looks day two after a cut, especially when taking a few inches off. But I am obsessed. Paul is fabulous and did wonders!

Went for the first time and wasn't the biggest fan of the layout of the store it took me forever to find what I needed, and with 2 brands the last one of the color of powder I needed was broken and even though I was fine with getting it at a discount she made me wait twice while she checked in the back just to tell me they don't have it so I had to pay full price for not even my color match which I wasn't happy about.

I was in the area and stopped into the Sunset Valley Ulta location vs my normal South Park Meadows and WOW.. the atmosphere was vibrant, the employees were hard at work but it felt like every single one said hello and asked if they could help me, it didn't matter where I was in the store there was an employee working, stocking shelves or whatnot and made sure to stop what they were doing to acknowledge me. But a HUGE shout out to Caleb who helped me with Clinique and Urban Decay AND Louis who also had great recommendations. So very impressed with both of these employees, thank you for making my Ulta experience amazing!!!

I had such a great experience at this Ulta location. I went in with several specific ideas for products I wanted and was helped by Avalon. She was so sweet, knowledgeable and knew exactly where to walk me when I described what I was looking for. Avalon found me the perfect nude matte cool toned lip shade - something I’ve been on the hunt for for years, as well as a perfect lip liner when the original recommended shade was out of stock. She grabbed me the perfect liquid felt tip eyeliner & really just listened when I explained what types of makeup I like to use. I feel like often employees will push me toward more full glam type of products and I’m a bit more of a minimal/neutral makeup wearer.
Will definitely be back and hope to get more tips/recs from Avalon again!! She was so pleasant!!

Anna - the rep for Peach & Lily - absolutely incredible.
She has a knowledge she needs to inform shoppers about the products they want to choose for their concern, and she believes in her product because it really is that good. Peach & Lily is the move. Get it.
I’m not even joking, I truly hope that Anna gets every bit of compensation that she deserves because the work she puts in that brand and its buyers is beyond just being a good sales representative

I recently moved to Austin, and I’ve always been super picky about who touches my hair. A friend recommended J.Nicole K. at the Ulta Salon on Brodie Lane, and wow—I have to admit I was nervous at first. I’d been with the same stylist for nearly 20 years!
But Nicole is truly the best. She’s incredibly friendly, takes her time to really understand what you’re looking for, and delivers amazing results every time. I love how thoughtful and detail-oriented she is with her work.
Since I started seeing her, I’ve never had a bad experience. Highly, highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone you can actually trust with your hair!

I went to grab some products during my lunch break. I had a long list of items to grab and couldn’t place a pick up order because I recently had to order a new card and it hasn’t arrived yet. One employee actually helped me find 1 out of 10 items. All the other employees would point to the general area then go back to talking to the other employees. Clearly the employees here would rather be talking to each other than helping a customer who’s about to make a purchase. The WiFi is awful and I couldn’t even use my member coupon at check out because by that time I was late getting back to work and their service is literally so bad that I spent 5 minutes trying to get the coupon to load and ended up leaving because I needed to get back to work. Never going here again unless it’s only to pick up an order.

I just have to say—Nicole K is pure magic! I did my hair with her last year and had to come back because no one makes me feel more like me than she does. Once again, she absolutely nailed it. From the moment I sat in her chair, I felt cared for, understood, and completely at ease. She listened to exactly what I wanted and brought my vision to life even better than I imagined.
Nicole has a gift—not just with hair, but with people. She’s warm, professional, and truly passionate about her craft. Walking out of the salon, I felt confident, refreshed, and like I got a little piece of myself back. She’s simply the best, and I couldn’t recommend her more highly. Thank you, Nicole, for reminding me how good it feels to feel like myself again!
