“Our Shih Tzu dog had an attack of acute pancreatitis and was vomiting and had diarrhea all over our house. We rushed him to the Westridge and the staff helped us get him to Dr Sandoval who confirmed the pancreatitis with a blood test. We put our dog in their hospital and after the first day, he still wasn't doing well. The vet changed to a stronger antibiotic and then we were able to bring him home at the end of the third day. Cudos to the staff and Dr Sandoval that saved his life!”

“Dr. Stacy saved my baby boy. ? He was in the hospital for five days with another veterinarian. They gave him a 50-50 chance of surviving they said he had liver disease & was wanting me to take him to Dallas to a specialist. I was referred to Dr. Stacy by Dr. Dr Kemp. She immediately resolved the problem and he is back to being his spunky mischievous three-year-old self. She is the best around in my opinion. It was his diet! He cannot tolerate chicken and chicken is in almost every single dog food, and treats! He is now eating rabbit and duck! ?”
“Dr Gary Old at the Richmond Road Veterinary Clinic in Texarkana Texas is absolutely awesome! The entire staff was pleasant helpful and put us at ease immediately when we arrived with our dog for ACL surgery. We drove from Tyler on the recommendation of a good friend saying that Dr Old was a remarkable surgeon and a fantastic person as well.
We were there for the initial consultation as well as surgery. The consultation was very informative, with Dr Old answering all of our questions and informing us as to what to expect from the surgery. The entire staff could not have been any nicer.
After the surgery we were given follow-up information to take home as well as all of the medications we would need and instructions on how to take care of our dog. It was well worth driving 2 hours each way for the surgery and care of our dog. Not only were they caring and compassionate but their prices were dramatically less than those of clinics in the Dallas area. I'm sorry we can only give five stars because I would give 10+ if possible!
I totally recommend Dr Gary Old at the Richmond Road veterinary Clinic in Texarkana Texas for any of your pet needs, especially any surgery.”
“Awesome people and so informative. I'm a new piggy parent and I learned about so many helpful things today. They don't have enough stars to give lol I highly recommend!!!”
“Ark La Tex Animal Clinic has been a blessing to me and my pets. Every visit, whether routine or urgent, they've shown genuine care and professionalism. They’ve always treated my animals like family, and their attention to detail and kindness never go unnoticed.
What truly sets them apart is how they supported me during one of the hardest moments of my life—when I had to say goodbye to my dog. They didn’t just provide medical care; they offered emotional support, patience, and dignity throughout the process. That kind of compassion can’t be taught—it’s just who they are.
If you're looking for a clinic that treats your pets with love and treats you with respect, Ark La Tex Animal Clinic is the place. I’m grateful for everything they’ve done and continue to do.”
“My beloved Mastiff’s health was failing, but Dr Pridgeon and her staff were there every day (including a Sunday and the 4th of July) to draw blood, run tests, and provide immediate results on him. They were an awesome team. She called Texas A&M’s Veterinary Hospital and made arrangements for a blood transfusion for my Rocky while I rushed him down there, all of this on a holiday. …. They care about your pets almost as much as you do. We’ll go no place else.”
