“Have been attending here for years. Nicest people you will ever meet. Very laid back with great folk choir, art shows and more! The minister is super sweet, too. Highly recommend!”
“Joining the Junior League of The Woodlands was a fantastic decision as someone new to the area. The combination of the opportunities to serve the community in different ways are endless and the friendships made with such a diverse group of women are is exactly why I wanted to take part. The Holiday Market they put on every year is also spectacular!”
“Bingo on Mondays. Pick up a monthly calendar if events at the library. Meals on Wheels provides a delicious lunch after bingo. They actually serve seniors 62 or older lunch Monday through Fridays. You need to register.”
“Both my 5 year old and 1 year old love coming, and they hardly ever get bored! It’s also adorable for a paid option with the annual membership allowing unlimited visits. For locals, it’s much easier than a visit downtown to the Houston Children’s Museum. It is smaller than the Houston one but much more manageable for trying to keep track of multiple kids. Unlike Playstreet Museum, you can go anytime they are open, and it’s bigger than Playstreet with more to do. They also have an adorable weekly event called Toddler Time with Ms. Jan and a special dedicated toddler area. Other special events are sprinkled throughout the calendar.”
“This place is the best for seniors wishing to stay in shape, as the Senior Sneakers, water exercise and Low Impact classes are absolutely fabulous. The pool is great for doing laps, and secure with attentive lifeguards at all times. The individualized preprogrammed exercise machines prevent injury. And everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful. I love this Y!”
“Nice gym, good equipment, but hours are very limited and restrictive, especially on weekends. In Oklahoma, the YMCA allowed 24-hour access with a phone app. Theft would prevent me from recommending this in Houston, but in The Woodlands, the risk would be very low. And, the app and cameras would log who came in and out. This would add a lot of value to this gym. It might require locking some other internal doors at night.”
“Just a donation center, not a store. Review is to help those who drive all the way here and it’s not a store…like me lol. Good place to donate things, not to shop.”
“I must express in a very personal way and based on personal experiences from other academies in other countries, that the owner and coaches of this club are committed to sport, excellence and something super important focused on 100% of that first education that is the fundamental base of soccer. This club is magnificent, its phenomenal atmosphere. My son went there and it was great. To the couch, thank you very much for everything and for so much. Forever Interwoodland”
