“Quite literally my favorite store. I don't mind any of these little quirks people nag about. The employees here are great, know me by name and are always awesome to me. The lines are so long and I wish corporate helped them out more and paid them a better wage. They really go above and beyond for any customer that comes by. Love you dollar tree!”
“We bought a file cabinet here, very good quality. Very affordable prices and Karen who helped us with the purchase was very friendly. We recommend this local business for office furniture, desks, chairs, and more.”
“Amanda was so patient and amazing with all of us waiting for the dumplings! We have been to multiple 5 below looking and she went above and beyond for everyone in line looking through their new shipment. We all got our dumplings! Yayyy”
“The place is nice and clean, Aliyah and Gabby both awesome and helped me picked out the blind boxes for the ones I was looking for. The items I bought are very good quality and perfect Christmas and birthday gifts for my friends and family. I would highly recommend :)”
“I visit this Dollar General frequently because it's convenient and the prices are good. The staff is typically friendly and it's easy to get in and out of.”
“Absolutely the best Dollar Tree! Staff is friendly, helpful, and engaging! The store is incredibly neat, clean, and well-stocked - so much fun to shop here! And the manager, Heather, is incredible! She truly cares about the guests, and the store - Heather is truly a tremendous asset to the organization - she is so professional and always has a smile to offer! Love, love, love this Dollar Tree!”
“Don't go here with your 10 year old unless you want to empty your bank account. Also, skin care dupe does not mean the labels are similar to your favorite brand. Please read the labels and compare to the major brand being knocked off.”
“Visited the outlet located at Portofino shopping center. Nice collection of items, mostly made in China or elsewhere. Self checkout is available, and the staff is also there to help with it.”
“I am so excited, I have been shopping in this location since they opened. I found a great variety of new items since the last time I came. Paris, checked my items out today, She was not only wonderful, but she suggested a lot of great options. I highly recommend this location.”
“First I went in there just to add money to my card. With a kind greeting in a heartfelt welcome buy a new assistant manager it seems. With a connection with her I felt like we knew each other for years , like going to the small towns only general store knowing everybody in town by first name, I walked out feeling truly glad I went there, this is no exaggeration. I asked her if she was the general manager and she said it assistant and I said well I used to work at Dollar general and if I had manager like you in any job, I would love to come work for you. Anyways she needs her own store or she needs to teach hospitality waited tables for 25 years, I know it true hospitality is it's something you really can't teach. What she had was not just walk in the door and somebody screaming hello, her body language it was engaging and I felt like she was glad to be there and she wanted to be there for anyone that was coming into the store. Not recovering not stocking the shelves doing planograms or anyting the store was perfectly clean and organized and she's didn't seem like she didn't want not be there like every store with a. Two thumbs up, what Tom Brady was to football she's got that as a manager or some of that running is any store, bravo.”
“The manager is a very nice lady. We share same name LOL. This is my Neighborhood store so i am in here all the time. The staff are all friendly. Always helpful. Corporate needs to update the interior of this location as its very cluttered and people would browse longer and spend more in an update store and add some color etc....”
“Should have gotten her name, but she was so helpful! I called and asked to check stock on paint rollers and she gave all options that were there! Thanks for your dedication to helping me out!!”
“The one cashier they had available had a beautiful smile but seemed like she worked too hard and deserved a day off! It was a busy store at a busy time of day but we got in and out quickly right before the big storm. I’m thankful for her!”
“Waw am always find every thing I need even some food ? coffee cookies water cleaning supplies trash bags cans party ? supplies decorations for house jewelry ? beauty products”
“I get nervous when I'm in stores that I'm unfamiliar with and it can be overwhelming to try and find the items I'm looking for. There was an extremely helpful, kind and friendly woman who helped me find what I needed. She made my whole experience ? lovely”
“This one is a little pricey but considering the area i get it ... nice selection albeit smaller than some stores but way more clean than a lot of other places and brighter as well which to me is a plus as it allows you to see product better”
“I’ve been coming to this store for years now I have watched the change through out the years !! The new management Mr .Dee is very helpful and seems like a great spirit to be around .”
“Was .33 short on card, bro helped me out cause I had change and it wasn't ready for it but card only, I gave him .40 cents for it. Keep him around and paid hell everyone working at this store deserves a raise with how hard they work and keep shelves loaded and know when shipments are coming. This is the DG we the community love and want more of. Please.”
“Isaac is professional, and he’s friendly he made sure that my whole experience was good while shopping at dollar tree. Isaac had a pleasant attitude, and I liked how organized the store was and the environment there was nice it wasn’t chaotic compared to other dollar trees.”
“The name says it all. The only setback for me was the isles were cluttered with boxes of merchandise and I only saw two workers. I suggest they have a stocker at night to alleviate that problem. A young lady helped me find a item. She was pleasant and patient. I would recommend this store.”
“Clean store very friendly and respectful employees, helpful and professional. Public restrooms were available and were clean, well stocked. Store was well stocked and organized well, over all wouldn't complain about anything.”
“Great customer service. After my purchase, I had a lot of bags to take to my car; in which I had backed up to the store to load up. I took several bags out and when I went back into the store, the cashier had grabbed the remaining bags and brought them out to my car. I truly appreciate his assistance. Thank you!!”
Burlington Stores is giving its locations a major makeover. The off-price retailer has already transformed about half of its 1,115 stores and plans to complete the redesign across its entire fleet by the end of 2026. The company calls this makeover "Store Experience 2.0." Gone are the cramped aisles and confusing layouts that once defined discount shopping. Instead, Burlington is creating wider walkways, organized sections, and clearer signs to help shoppers find what they need.
Dollar General is adding more of its private label food offerings to stores, following similar moves by big retailers like Walmart and Amazon as store brands keep growing in popularity. The store is launching new items under its own labels, including ice cream, cinnamon rolls, coffee syrups, and salad dressings. The move comes as store brand sales reached $271 billion in 2024, up nearly 4% from 2023.
Daiso, the beloved Japanese retailer known for its variety of affordable household goods, is expanding further in the U.S. market. Dollar Tree is moving into 170 former 99 Cents Only stores, marking a big shift in the discount retail landscape. The company announced Wednesday it's taking over leases in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas, with plans to reopen the stores under its own brand as early as fall 2024.
Ollie's Bargain Outlet just landed a great deal of its own, winning a $14.6 million bankruptcy auction for 11 former 99 Cents Only store locations across Texas. The discount retail chain pounced after 99 Cents Only abruptly went out of business in March, shuttering all 371 of its stores in California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. Ollie's quickly made an opening "stalking horse bid" to grab over a dozen of the empty properties.
