“i work at Hand&Stone and i go in 5 below a lot. There is an African American young guy that works in there that is absolutely THE BEST. He is always so pleasant and nice. He acts like we've been friends forever. Everyone at Hand&Stone loves this guy. I wish i knew his name. But 5 below is lucky to have him.”
“Haven't been in the store yet. When I called to inquire if they carried an item, before driving over, the lady on the phone was very kind and happy to check for me. I called another location somewhat close by and that lady gave an immediate "no we don't carry it", which is either amazing she knew or she simply didn't want to take the time to check.”
“This is a newer Dollar general in the town I live in. One thing that's interesting is they have an area for fresh fruits and vegetables. I've never seen that in all the other Dollar generals. I've been chewing different states and the different Dollar generals here in town. It might be a new thing they're doing and that's pretty coolAs far as the staff goes, it's hit and miss. Sometimes you get really sweet, helpful staff members and sometimes you get really grumpy, not helpful staff members.The store is stocked and organized. Unlike some DGs I've been to. Location is easy to drive to, but since it's on a crazy busy street, it's hard to get in and out of their parking lot safely.”

Narrow aisles, unboxed inventory, inconsistent stock, sometimes long waits.Get greeting cards for literally a fourth of the big box store price. That's literally literally, not figuratively literally.The Brim's popcorn and Pennysticks pretzels are some of my favorite junk food, regardless of price. It's a coinflip whether or not they'll be sold out, though.”
“I read that dollar general had really stepped up their home decor section and it was true. This is a smaller store but I was still happy with the selection. I look forward to checking out the other stores in the area.”
“It's a shame they are closing nationwide. Gone is another defining store of my era. Thank you Big Lots, for I was once an employee during my college years in Tyler, TX. I learned a lot while working there over 20 years ago.

“Just your typical Dollar general. Nothing special. I was on the hunt for a specific item so I traveled to a couple of Dollar generals in the area. They all seem to be the same.”
“I normally don't shop at Family Dollar Store this is just your typical Inner City Family Dollar I definitely only come when someone else needs a ride there however I always seem to find something and pick up or buy I don't know if they have bathrooms available and I wouldn't be able to tell you the conditions of the bathroom however they had always seemed to have some good prices on things”
“I enjoyed shopping at Dollar General today on the Chandler Hwy. It was the cleanest Dollar General I have ever been in. The shelves were well stocked. I found everything I needed. The staff was courteous and very helpful! I will be back!!”

“I go there all the time because it's so convenient and close. This store seems to struggle keeping good employees. I don't know if that's corporate fault because you don't hire people face-to-face so you never know who you're getting. Tell me how do you judge a person's personality and attitude by an Internet Application?? I have heard that once you make the actual personal interview you just about have the job.. So I take my hat off to them I think they do a great job....UPDATE.. The manager of this store has done a great job hiring, training, and keeping this location clean and top notch.”
“I love this location. The staff are always busy trying to catch up on deliveries, and they always smile and are nice even when they have to stop to help people. I avoid two other Dollar Generals near me to shop at this one. Always a pleasure!”

“This is a great bargain store. They purchase products in bulk so they are able to pass the savings to the customer. It's like a throwback to when the customer is always correct. Inside the store is a sign saying that the customer is always correct.”
