I love shopping at this store, from the time you walk through the door until you leave their is always someone available to assist you with anything. Everyone is always friendly and smiling. I have to say that the managers of this establishment are doing a wonderful job.

I absolutely love love love love love love looooooooovvveeeeee this store in Tyler, I am a HARDCORE thrifter so I love traveling and visiting different thrift stores in Texas and face and hands down this Goodwill is The Beeessssssttttttt. I recently started regularly visiting this store, more than I go to church honestly thanks in part to the welcoming staff Like Tara. I asked Tara for assistance and she literally dropped everything that she was doing to help me find a boot to complete the pair of boots I had in y cart for over an hour. Tara looked and looked and did not stop until she found it for me, now that is what I call excellent customer service. Tara remembered me and now every time I am in the store she is goes out of her way to say hello and offer help. Tara is a keeper for sure!! Thank you to whomever hired her!!

Found a recliner i wanted paid for it then tried to load it up and it wouldn't fit lacked 3 inches . Manager on duty called his boss and told me my only option was to donate it back to the store if I could not get it. Then I asked if I could get something else in the store that was the same price they said no. Wife was really upset and I told the guy in the store we will never give them nothing or buy anything from them again. I told wife out loud in the store that they must need the $20 badly. So it your on choice to use them but will never get anymore from me. I will throw my stuff in the trash b4 goodwill gets it.

Took a load of things to help the community. Was told they if they couldn’t take one item they weren’t taking the rest said it was their store policy I spoke with manager couldn’t show me anything that said that. I looked it up online all it gives is a list of things they won’t accept! Cool! But to turn down kitchen items and clothes and shoes to help others in the community is not cool! The unloading crew was very rude from the moment we arrived. The manager was not professional straight lies and stumbled over his words. I have been donating to goodwill for years and this was the first! It’s gone way down hill. I’ll will just give our donations to hangers of hope and Salvation Army from now on. From one manager to another do better! Breaks my heart!

Tired of seeing literal trash, garbage for sale. I’ll even see used items priced HIGHER than the original price for the brand new item. Your employees need to learn how to price properly and when to throw out garbage rather than sticking a ridiculous price on it.

On 09/02/2024, I visited the Goodwill on Tyler South 06, 1817 WSW Loop 323 Tyler Texas. A employee name Lashanda W. helped me and she has great customer service. Lashanda W. is sweet, patient, kind and goes over and beyond for the customer.

We were at the 1817 W SW Loop 323, Tyler, TX 75701, location on Saturday, 6/8/24, when we were treated horrible by the cashier. We witnessed her talk rudely to a customer on the phone, yell at an elderly co-worker and throw the customer in front of us his change. Accused us of changing the price on a pair of boots which was completely false. Extremely rude to us and everyone else. The customer in front of us saw how we were treated and said she needs to be reported. My friend and I along with the other customer asked to speak to the manager. The manager just stood there listening to all of us explain our situation. He did not offer any solution to the situation. Finally he said he was sorry. He did not offer to assist with processing our purchase which we had a shopping cart full of items. So we left everything. This was such an unprofessional and insulting experience. We will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce. Tyler ,TX deserves better treatment when supporting businesses in our community.

Just moved to Tyler. Took a load of home decor and dishes to donate this morning. We had a small 4’ brand new Christmas tree in an unopened box. The gentleman taking the donations said you don’t accept Christmas items. My husband said that was no problem and he would bring the tree back home. Then the Goodwill representative said the policy is if one item is rejected you can’t take any of them! We had no other holiday items, but he refused our entire load. He didn’t want to look in any of the boxes; he just refused everything! We had items from Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Rae Dunn - items that would have quickly sold. We had no problem with the one tree being refused. I don’t understand the policy to refuse an entire load, though.

I went to check out to buy a drink dispenser for $9. 00 the lady said that's cute but let me check something she took it in back and put $20. On it then wanted me to pay more!

I'm from a different state, so the layout of this store was much different than I'm used to. No big deal. I came to Texas to do some hiking and see a friend. I found 2 decent pair of hiking shoes and couldn't believe it. When I got to the counter, neither pair had a price sticker on them. I was told they couldn't be sold until they had gone back through processing which could take 2 days. That's absolutely ridiculous! If they can't be sold, they shouldn't be on the sales floor! I will not return to this location.

The employees here are so friendly. They stay busy organizing the clothes and putting out new inventory. There is constantly new inventory here. Lots of kids clothes. I often find designer brands for very low prices. Highly recommend.
