The Hilton Garden Inn Tyler offers a mixed experience for guests. While the hotel features a nice lobby and ample parking, the rooms can be hit-or-miss. Some guests report comfortable beds and clean rooms, while others encountered issues like hard mattresses, cleanliness problems, and poor water pressure in the showers. The bathroom lighting is also described as dim in some rooms. The staff at the hotel receives mixed reviews as well. Some guests praise the friendliness and helpfulness of the front desk and breakfast staff, while others report indifferent or even seemingly disinterested employees. The breakfast situation is also a point of contention, with some guests finding it to be an additional charge despite the expectation of it being included. Overall, the Hilton Garden Inn Tyler seems to provide an average hotel experience, with the quality of the rooms and the service varying. Guests should be prepared for the possibility of encountering some maintenance or cleanliness issues during their stay, but the hotel's amenities like the hot tub and generally comfortable accommodations can still make it a suitable option for many travelers.

Beds were hard, cleanliness was a bit off. (We found dead roach or a very smushed raisin right inside and there was hair hanging from the shower faucet.) the front desk staff seemed ready to end it all. Also the breakfast said it was included online but instead there was a charge. Hot tub was lovely however.

Michael at the reception desk was super friendly and helpful. The hot tub was a great bonus and the room was super clean. Maria at the breakfast area was great as well.
