Went to this branch to use the ATM and the machine shut down mid transaction and didn’t dispense the cash but amount was removed from my USAA checking account. I was told I was out of luck by teller and branch manager. I was told to file a claim with my bank. I was offered to do a cash advance on my USAA debit card but out of the principle, I would not allow Southside to remove even more money from my account when the initial transaction wasn’t even honored. What if this was all the money I had and couldn’t access it until the claim was approved? What if I had hungry children at home and couldn’t feed them because your bank’s ATM crashed? This is completely unethical and it seems employees can’t solve even simple problems anymore.

I use a lot of their locations but my fav is Three Lakes! I’ve gotten to know a few of their employees and talk to Reagan almost every time I call in. I love that they actually answer the phones and know who I am. That’s Gold!! They go out of their way to make sure I’m taken care of.
