Hours: Fuzzy Friends Rescue is Waco's largest and oldest no-kill rescue, founded in 1997. It is a non-profit animal welfare organization that cares for homeless and unwanted animals in a life-care environment, never euthanizing to make room for another. The staff is exceptional and shows wonderful care for the animals, who are well cared for. The center is clean. It is the perfect place to find a new family member, whether a baby to raise or an older companion. Many note a great experience adopting, with staff who are nice to work with and who clearly love and care for the animals. They are known for being picky about adoptions to ensure the best life for their animals, most of whom have gone through traumatic events. It is a place for people to find a furbaby to complete a spot in their heart.
