The Game Closet is a favorite local game shop with a great selection of board games, Magic: The Gathering, wargames, Warhammer, and D&D. It offers a spacious play room with tables for games, open late on Fridays, and a great rental service to play from a huge array of games. The commander scene is great. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, cool, passionate, informed, and hilarious, creating great conversations. They are a beautiful resource for the city, knowledgeable about all levels of games for all levels of gamers. It is a great place to bring family and friends for a family-friendly experience, perfect for a board game night. It is definitely worth visiting for anyone new to the area, passing through, or looking for a great outing. Stop by, you won't be disappointed.
AMAZING. I love how helpful and accommodating they are. Even got to chit chat with the owner and he is awesome to converse with. Gave me info on upcoming events and made me feel incredibly welcome.

Hands down the best hobby shop in Texas. Extremely welcoming no matter your knowledge on whatever you want to come in for. Always stocked and if they aren't they'll make sure they have it next time you come in. Store owner BJ is an incredible dude and I couldn't imagine shopping anywhere else!
