I love Once Upon a Child but this is the worst location. Other locations are stocked with matching sets, the racks are color coordinated with seasonal clothing set out, and prices are great! This location feels like goodwill shopping; random, unmatched pieces priced at big box pricing. Even though this location is 5 minutes away, I make the drive to the Pearland one!

Over the last few years this store has really gone in a downward trend.
For purchases - their selection is very limited. The store is always in disarray, dirty and unorganized. The employees are not friendly nor welcoming.
For buys- they take an inordinate amount of time. Many times I have brought very nice, clean, not stained, season appropriate, name brand items laid flat and neatly for them to go through that they have just wadded up and thrown back in the basket.
Baytown location has better selection, more friendly employees, cleaner and more organized. I would drive further to go to that location.

Worst location I’ve been too. Totally disorganized. Boys and girls clothes all mixed together. Shirts, pants, and shorts all mixed together. Terrible customer service.

HORRIBLE ! The store looks like a tornado ran through there . & a lot of requirements just to use a card . Staff has no sense of customer service AT ALL .

Pauses buys when they want with no notice anywhere. You get to find out once you’ve hauled everything all the way into the store. Usually love this location & don’t write reviews but 1 of 2 workers were very rude and made me feel dumb for not knowing this information. I’ve sold here before and have never heard of a once upon a child pausing buys. Wouldn’t be too much of an issues if a notice could be put out.

Was hoping our first couple visits were a fluke but this store needs help. We went this last weekend and the staff was very rude. Clothes to buy were ripped a stained. We will take our business to a better run business.

The reviews are too harsh.
Everything was organized & labeled.
They were nice , they were just busy .
I got a good amount for my items . Just dont put your stuff in trash bags.
The only negative thing is that I feel like the items are priced a little too high compared to the other Once up child that I have been too.

What an absolute disgrace of a company. This is why I go to the Baytown location. It’s worth the drive!!! Before I can even get into the store, a woman is walking out from Plato’s closet, telling me they won’t accept anything until after 5 and she was livid. I then carry my three bags into this “facility” and the (what looks like) a 15 year old girl finally ask me, if I’m selling.
She’s waiting on me to check in and I tell her, I’m not familiar as I usually go to Baytown. Instantly, she said oh you need boxes! You can go to Michael’s and buy them to put your stuff in from your three bags. I asked who the supervisor was and the name I was given was “Sylus” (allegedly). How absolutely awful this place is being ran. I would vote to have a new owner if you can’t do any better than this.
Also, save the “oh no. I’m sorry for your experience”. Based on all of these terrible reviews, you know exactly what you’re doing and aren’t (clearly) concerned in correcting anything!!!!!! ✌🏼

The EVERYTHING they put on the racks are all dirty, stained and ripped. Nothing is organized. Once you enter the place you instantly feel the depressing vibe. Do yourself a favor and go to the Pearland one, might be a drive but it is nothing compare to this place.

Ive been here a few times and just recently had an issue with two employees working there constantly laughing & talking behind the counter about ppl as they brought in their items (myself included) for whatever reason. This isn’t the first time it has happened but I chose to ignore it initially however, with my most recent visit this issue happened once again. I decided to address it & asked if there were any issues and they just gaslit me into believing they were laughing at “discrepancies”. Ive usually had better luck with my buy outs when these two employees aren’t working and they look like they could be teenagers (young skinny guy w/ short dark hair & a young petite girl w/ brown hair & a bob) but I don’t believe they should be in charge of the appraisal of items with that level of unprofessional and lack there of honest/fair appraisals. I’ve even brought brand new never worn items and have been rejected for those as well so I would not recommend bringing your nice items to this store. Definitely go to the Pearland location!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I promise I will NEVER step foot into this location ever again. I took them a bunch of shoes that no longer fit my little ones in GREAT condition and they offered me FOUR DOLLARS for 2 pairs so I told them just never mind I’m good. Then I happened to be in the area of the one in Pearland so I stopped by there to see if they would buy them and they gave me $21 for my stuff!! I was just MIND BLOWN how much this location has been ripping me off for so many years now!!! This location is HORRIFIC compared to the Pearland one!!!! This location told me it would be 1-1.5 hours for them to go through my ONE little basket of shoes but the Pearland one literally took only FIVE MINUTES!
This location also does NOT provide bags when you purchase stuff but the Pearland one does and they also have CARTS and BASKETS to put stuff in while you shop but this location does not! I have had nothing but horrible horrible horrible experiences with this location and I will NEVER let them upset me or waste my time anymore. The Pearland one is HEAVENLY compared to this one and I will be going to that location from here on out. It’s out of my way but SO WORTH IT. Do NOT come here go to Pearland it’s a GAME CHANGER for sure!!
Also this one selling experience was NOT my first terrible experience with them but I would rather not write a book about it.
It’s SO unorganized here and they sell such CRAPPY stuff but yet never buy things that are in good condition. The Pearland one is THE spot to go to I promise y’all!!
Go to the Pearland location even if it’s out of your way I PROMISE you will not be disappointed!!

I guess I should have read the reviews before heading here. I used to buy from this location a lot when my kids were smaller. This time I needed to sell, so I called first. Voicemail had an option to explain how selling to them works. I listened to the instructions twice to make sure I understood how the process worked. When I arrived I was told there was a limit on how much I could bring (one tote per household). They cited being busy on the weekends but there was few people in the store at the time. And, Too late, my car was already loaded and I live 25 minutes away from the location and I had other errands to run on this side of town (Costco). I asked the manager if he’d make an exception since their voicemail made no mention of this limit. The allowed 2 bins (I brought 8). When we returned they only took 11 items, this would have been fine if they offered to review more but they did not. Now we have an even bigger problem because we have zero space for what was left. We made due in the most inconvenient and slightly dangerous way possible, but it just seemed like an extremely poor business practice. We will not be returning to this location. Overall the staff was polite, compensation was better than expected, $13 for 11 items but the lack of awareness to their own corporate disclosure and their inability to honor it as disclosed was not only inconvenient but dangerous and inexcusable.

Cyrus helped me sell some of my daughter’s baby clothes she had grown out of which is gonna help me feed my family this month and pay bills.I couldn’t ask for best better customer service.
