“This has to be the most honest mechanic shop ever. My wife and I have been coming here for years to service and repair our vehicles for a fraction of the cost. When the dealership told me I needed new brake pads I balked. I brought my car to Century and Joe (rip) took a look and told me come back in 6 months. We finally changed the pads 18 months later. He never charged me for the intervals when I brought it in to check pads. I was a customer for life by that point. Joe’s son Travis has taken over after working side by side for years with his Dad. He continues the friendly honest reliable service tradition. Austin is lucky to have this gem.”

“I do not write reviews at all, but this company deserves one from the exprience I went through.Two years ago I was invloved in a minor accident where the passenger side of my Camry needed repairs. Service King was the body shop I selected as it was close to my house and under my insurance. This was mistake, as their service was anything but royality.Three months later, I get my car back and had major noise issues. I took it back and they "repaired" the problems.This was my second of three trips I had to make for them. The third time, I still had issues and took it back and they sent it to a Toyota dealership to resolve the issue. The noise was still there. At first, I thought my car simply needed new tires because the old ones were getting worn and the thread mismatch on all four of the wheel. Got new tires and still had major noise issues.So I finally decided to take it to another repair shop and just pay out of pocket. Tech One was on the top of the list of my search on Google as far as consistency of service and overall customer service reviews.I told them nothing of the wreck, but did inform them of the noise.I get a call a few hours later that day and Robert informed me that my car was in a wreck at one point and was poorly serviced. He informed me that the two front wheel bearings needed replaced with some filter replacements and said this would fix the issue. They repaired my car as needed and when I picked it up, they informed me the noise is still there and it had to be the type of tires I had (they were apparently loud snow tires).They recommended some tires for me that are much quieter and told me Discount Tire would switch them out if it was still within the 30 days of my purchase. I was a bit annoyed with the situation, but I humored them and got my tires switched out with Michlin Defender tires. The noise did improve, but there was still a deep humming noise at high speeds.I took it back and Tech One told me they would take care of it.Got a phone call a few hours later that day and the Techincians narrowed the problem down to the passenger rear wheel. The wheel was wedged into the wheel bearing during my crash and their initial test didn't catch it. They ended up replacing the wheel with a discount and now my car is smooth and quiet once again.Although the exprience was annoying, I do not blame Tech One. My Camry was sent to Service King three seperate times and a Toyota dealship, with Toyota overlooking the repairs that the car needed.Tech One went above and beyond than any shop I went to because of their investigative service. You do not see a lot shops do this anymore because they're more worried about churrning out as many customers as possible, all while neglecting the overal repairs of the car.If you need your car look at for any issue, I'm confident Tech One will repair the issue.”

Now multiple friends have been going for years. They’re very friendly, always going above and beyond. I couldn’t recommend them enough!”

“My Kia Soul was stolen, smashed up, and driven into a creek bed. Classic Collision did the body work, but failed to correctly diagnose the vibrations I experienced every time I tried to accelerate past 40 mph. My car struggled to reach 55mph and would shake coming down from anything above 50. I spent 3 hours at C.C. while they pretended to realign my wheels and placate me. They even suggested that the vibrations may be normal for Kias. I assured them that my Kia never vibrated or struggled at higher speeds. If anything, it accelerated quickly and easily. I made arrangements to bring my Kia to Yost for a second diagnosis. Most mechanics wouldn't accept insurance, but Yost did! Right before my appointment, my car was broken into AGAIN. I had a club on the steering wheel. They weren't able to steal it so they just broke the window. Yost took great care to secure my vehicle inside the shop with the club on because it was vulnerable. They quickly identified the problems - my front wheel was bent and the back wheels were trashed. They said it was as if the thief had driven at high speeds with the parking break on. It also had a bent hub. The bent front wheel was the main source of the vibrating. While it was there, I asked them to estimate the cost of the broken window. Insurance wouldn't cover it unless I made a new claim. Safelite was going to charge me $540. Yost charged me $325 for both parts and labor and had it done the same day. I took my car home while they waited for the parts to arrive. After securing payment from my insurance, it took them less than a day to install four new wheels, a new hub, replace all the parts, and realign everything. Driving away I noticed an immediate difference. In fact, my Kia is driving better than it was before it was stolen! I've made the decision to trade in my Kia due to the massive amount of Kia thefts (thank you, Tik Tok), but I feel so much safer in it while I look for something that's less of a target. When I do, Yost will be my mechanic of choice. They are fast, affordable, and they really know what they're doing. Everyone there was really accommodating and did everything they could to make sure my car was safe in their shop. Shout out to Mark for being so friendly and knowledgeable! And The office staff is really friendly and pleasant.”

After a staggering 10k bill at Land Rover Austin I was not willing to pay for, I bring my car here with High hopes after reading their reviews and I have to say they more than held up their name. $500 later plus I had them change the oil on top of that, I pulled out with my car running TOP NOTCH! “I normally take my car to the dealership for repairs/fixes. I had an oil leak that required a rear engine oil seal repair. The dealership quoted me about $3,000 whereas it only cost $925 at Luu. Quick service - dropped it off Monday after work and got a call saying it was ready on Wednesday afternoon (I was expecting it to take the full week) and he took the time to explain what exactly the service entailed and each item on the invoice. Would definitely recommend for quick and quality car service!”

“Phenom shop, was recommended from a coworker who loves it and is long time customer. I went in for an unknown electrical repair, they were busy for the day but generously squeezed me in, had it fixed in 20 mins, and gave me a generous one time discount which was totally unexpected and super nice b/c I said I'd be back for a full maintenance service soon but it was so nice to see me right away, squeeze me, and the discount. An exception so don't expect that but the idea is they're super nice, knew exactly the problem and zeroed in on it, and fixed it in 20 mins which is incredible. It was a problem plaguing me for months and made life more difficult, so it made a difference to get fixed right away ahead of a full inspection/service. Big thimbs up thanks guys. “Leaking power steering fluid, my 2004 4Runner just needed a few new hydraulic hoses. A few hundred bucks, I thought...The final tab was $1,500, and worth every penny. LugNuts fixed the rack-and-pinyon issues, the steering gear, and replaced leaking hoses. It's a 20 year old 4Runner with 185,000 miles, so that should be required normal maintenance.Patrick is honest and reliable. I've counted on that for years, and will continue to.”
