Pastor Garrett is warm and inviting-you’ll be challenged to know Jesus and to get in to the Bible and read it, memorize it, and put into practice what you’ve learned. I’m in one of the senior Sunday school classes. We have an awesome connection with each other and with our teacher, Bro. John. He too challenges us to get in the word and put it in to practice. I not only love my church, I feel loved. If you’re looking for a church to be about the Fathers business- First Baptist, Willis is it!

It's a beautiful church and the cross in the wooded area may call to you. The lady whom answered the phone and Pastor Garret allowed me to sit in that area to have a much needed peaceful moment which is difficult to find in this chaotic world.

The church had a wonderful trunk or treating festival. My son and I played games and had popcorn, candy, and funnel cakes. We felt welcome , and everyone was lovely. we would definitely go back.
