Really fair prices for the worked provided. Older vehicle needed the 1/4" hard lines replaced along with the control valve. I was very thankful for brake repair and very happy with the price

I can honestly say the kindness of the mechanics here help me believe that there is still good people in this world. We were traveling with our two senior small dogs and our alternator started failing and draining our battery. We were not close to home or our destination. They stopped all they were doing to work on our car and fix it properly and quickly. They also offered me and my dogs an office that had AC so they wouldn’t get overheated while we wait. We were back on the road in good time and the car is running great after a 3 hour drive. Thank you for your kindness and expertise!

I was in town at my in laws back in November, my 2013 Honda Civic LX had been making a loud noise while driving and got louder while accelerating. We found this place on a whim and decided to take my car here being it was after Thanksgiving and most places were closed. After running a diagnostic on my car my husband and father in law were told it was both front wheel bearings and needed new brake pads (which i didnt hear any problems with my break pads).My husband went to the local Auto Zone bought the parts and he agreed to do the labor/install we spent a total of 500$. After getting my car back it appeared to be fixed as there was no longer the god awful noise. However, after driving 3 hours back to San Marcos, everytime I turned I heard grinding noises on the driver side but didn't hear the noise that ultimately raised concerns. Fast forward to March and low and behold the noise started again progressingly getting worse. As of May 5th we decie3d to not go through run around and take it to a Honda Dealership. They said th3 front driver side needed a new wheel bearing. My blood was boiling as that was another 535$ we had to spend. So, I'm not sure if you took the new parts and put different ones on or only fixed one side only, but I feel like we got a fast one pulled on us.
After reading reviews seems they are just trying to make a quick buck and not properly install/fix issues and are scamming people.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Although they have not been able to pinpoint the issue causing my car to overheat because it's not giving any codes, Joe's auto is the only one who offered to do reasonably priced work that might fix it instead of just leaving me with a "nothing found" diagnostic reading & no solution. Thanks guys!

They took 3 weeks to fix my a/c. They only charged me $200, but it only lasted for 1/2 an hour.

This was the best automotive repair service that my husband and I have ever experienced! Stranded in Houston with a car needing repair and with medical appointments pending, Mr. Joe saw about our vehicle with urgency to help us out! The quality of the work was excellent and the charges were very fair! We would recommend to anyone needing help with his/her vehicle.

There's no words for how thankful I am with this people for helping me out when I got stranded really close by and had to walk to to the mechanic shop and told them if they could help me and the guy immediately went to where my car was and told me what was wrong and they took it to their shop and fixed it, that day it only took them a few hours.God Bless Them, That Day they Were My Heroes.They are also very affordable.

It doesn't get any better. I have used Joes for over 20 years, never had any issues. Fixed right the first time, never had to return for the same issue. He has worked on my VW, Toyota, and others. Easy to deal with, no games. The business looks small from the street but he has many bays to work on the cars. There is nothing pretentious about this place. Beware of the school zone, watch your speed in the school zones. There are kids everywhere when the schools let out. If you want honest work, reasonable priced, this is it.

I am so very impressed with Joe's Auto Repair. He has been able to repair issues with my extremely old car that two other mechanics have not been able to. Several times he has to try different options when it is difficult to diagnose the problem bc he doesn't want me to rush into fixing things and paying a lot of money if it isn't absolutely necessary. What an outstanding individual!

Dropped my car off for ac work and was told it was the ac compressor. I paid for that, and then they said the fan was not working, and I paid more money for that. Got my car back and had a bad coolant leak. I find out that the line connection was broke off and replaced with a brake line. I’m never taking my car back to them.Service: Air conditioning

We took a 2014 Ford Focus here first thing when they opened because the car was overheating after we replaced the fan. They said that the fan was bad and to get a new one. We got a new one and replaced it but the fan was still not working so we went back. They said they were going to lunch & to come back. When we went back we spoke with someone else & he called the guy and told him the issue. The worker on the phone didn’t know the phone was on speaker and started talking mess saying he was not going to do that and this isn’t what he does and just kept running his mouth. I left without service since he was disrespectful. I would give 0 stars for unprofessionalism and disrespect if I could. We will never be back.
