I like most all the loves travel plazas . Here they don’t have laundry services for the otr. They do have picnic table that be better if you didn’t have to smell dog crap while you eat . This place being no different than the others . People taking 30 min breaks in the fueling area has to stop

I had a very unpleasant experience at this location on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, around 3:30 PM. The store manager — Britney — spoke to me in a rude and disrespectful tone in front of other customers. Her attitude was unprofessional and humiliating.
As a paying customer, I expect basic courtesy and respect. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially from a manager. I hope Love’s corporate addresses this issue and reminds their staff about the importance of professionalism and customer service.

Complaint Regarding Poor Service and Wrong Parts at Love’s Truck Care
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the service received at one of your Love’s Truck Care locations. This experience has been the worst in my 15 years in the trucking industry and has resulted in financial loss, operational delays, and significant frustration for both myself and my driver.
One of my drivers visited your shop due to a non-functional AC system. The mechanic, Andrew, diagnosed a Freon leak and later informed us that a new AC compressor was needed. We were told the job would be completed the same day. However, the timeline kept getting pushed back due to additional issues—first, problems sourcing a hose from the dealership, and then a claim that a second hose was damaged during installation.
My driver had a delivery to make and had to leave before the job was completed. After that, your shop called demanding payment for unfinished work. I questioned why payment was due when the job wasn’t completed. They insisted the truck must return before any resolution could be made. My driver turned around—driving 300 miles back, wasting fuel, time, and disrupting his delivery schedule.
Once back, we were informed of yet another issue: now the newly installed compressor didn’t fit properly, and they blamed the dealership for providing incorrect parts. Despite these problems being entirely due to misdiagnosis and mishandling by the Love’s team, we were charged $1,600, even though the original estimate was $1,400, and no working AC system was delivered. We were essentially forced to pay, or they would not release the truck.
After this ordeal, I directed my driver to bring the truck to another mechanic in Ohio. Their assessment was shocking: Love’s had installed the wrong compressor, and in the process damaged multiple hoses trying to make it work. I had to purchase a new compressor and hoses from a local dealership, which cost less than what Love’s charged. Now, I’m left with wrong parts, damaged hoses, and $1,600 lost due to the negligence and poor service at your shop.
I attempted to resolve this with the location manager, but was told the issue is “above his pay grade.” I am requesting a full refund of $1,600, as no working repair was performed, and your team caused more damage rather than resolving the original issue.
I am hoping Love’s Corporate will do the right thing here. Until then, I have instructed all my drivers to avoid all Love’s mechanic shops and will be sharing this experience with my peers in the trucking community.

Easy access to and from 45. Clean bathrooms and always has fresh coffee. Need to be in by early afternoon to get a parking spot. Last good truck stop before Houston! Only negative is that I can’t spend the night with my trucker boyfriend because they won’t allow me to leave my car parked on the vehicle lot overnight.

I had an unpleasant experience with Christine today. I rarely stop at Love’s, though my husband comes here often, and we pulled in for gas. I went inside to make a quick lottery purchase. According to the Texas Lottery website, debit cards are accepted, but when I inserted mine, Christine loudly snapped, “YOU CAN’T PAY WITH THAT!” She was visibly frustrated and raised her voice unnecessarily.
What made it worse was that customers can, in fact, use debit cards at the in-store lottery machines. I only had $10 cash for a $15 purchase, so I ended up using the ATM—no problem there—but Christine continued loudly complaining, saying things like, “Lotto is killing us this week. Nobody is going to win,” while also making exaggerated apologies to the line for me “holding things up.”
She had also been rude to the customer ahead of me when they cashed in tickets. The entire interaction was unnecessarily hostile. When even my 14-year-old commented afterward about her attitude, it was clear that her behavior was unprofessional and not suited for a customer-facing role.

I came in today to order some Wendy’s. I told the young gentleman I wanted a Large Dave’s Double combo with no tomatoes or onions and a Parmesan Chicken Caesar Salad. I take a bite of my Burger and of course they must’ve put onions on the burger and thought they picked them all off but didn’t. Allergic reaction while I’m driving my Semi Truck. My throat swelled up blocking my airways, ambulance came and rushed me to the hospital. My wife’s salad was old old. Salads are supposed to be labeled with lifespan but it wasn’t, so there’s no telling how long her salad was in the refrigerator. Will post receipts and photos from ambulance ride and food but will save that for corporate.

Tried three times dump waste water from an RV. Every time I come, they have an excuse why we can't do it. Drive all the way here and have to find another place each time. They also never have her seat paper in any other gas pumps. Just poorly managed.

Great guys in the shop, very friendly and courteous. Clean store also with a friendly staff. Dominic the tire guy that came out to change my tire on the highway was very polite and professional and fast. Had to follow him to the shop to have a fuel line fixed and the shop manager Mike and his crew have been great!

Overcharged! $107.24 for 45 min of labor time plus $24.99 for parts to repair a hole in the red air line hose at the end by the glad hand. Total $140.10. Ridiculous.
