We have lived in Willis for well over 10 years now and D&M has been pretty much your go to, unless you can manage to actually find anything at Wise Hardware. Thankfully their reign of terror, price gouging and lack of customer service is over. They recently opened an Ace hardware and Lowes is coming. My final straw was a few weeks ago. I picked up a handful of items while in the store and when I went to pay for them the Cashier looked at one of the items....REMOVED the price tag and scanned the barcode on the item. OFC the price on the item was more than on the tag. The tag on the item and the pricing on the shelf matched, but the price on the item was higher. She looked right at me and took the lower price tag that SHE removed and moved it to side and never said a word. When she was done I asked to see the pricing, because they HIDE individual pricing where you cant see it, so they get away with stuff like this. When I asked her why she did that she said management told her to do that. Probably borders on illegal and if not it should be. They intentionally charge you more if you are not watching them like a hawk. They have seen my last $. I would rather drive to Oklahoma than ever shop here again.

Great people I came in right before closing, and people were still happy to help with enthusiasm. They usually have what I need and if not they always offer other suggestions.

Take a trip to a big box store instead, they didn’t even help me at all just pointed down an aisle then continued to do nothing. Total waste of time, they weren’t busy at all so not sure why I didn’t get helped.

Counter person is rude as rid can be. Come in here for work all the time. FIRST STOP. Not any more. Paying for thos as I had already started to buy it but this is LAST TIME OPENING THE DOOR!!!

They had the washboard I needed at an amazing price. Nobody else in the whole area had such a thing in stock and prices online for the exact same brand and size are considerably more expensive.

Refusing to accept my credit card for a purchase because you have an arbitrary five dollar minimum? How petty and ridiculous. Went to Ace Hardware instead…wasn’t a problem. You just permanently lost a customer!

I had one of car’s key fobs break. I couldn’t afford the $155 for a new one. The kind lady who was making keys dismantled a stock key fob and replaced the inner workings with the “ guts “ from my old fob. I left with two functioning key for at a cost of $45. I will never use any place else for all hardware services.
