“We were coming back home from a cruise in Galveston. About 8 miles from Winnie, the front metal guard around my engine dropped down and was dragging all the way in to Winnie on a Saturday. The person working got us into the repair bay and they fixed it in about 15 minutes and would not charge us for it. Really a godsend for us. They were great!!”

“After a quick trip to Anahuac NWR & 2 hours of birding with the A/C off, we were ready to cool off, but turned it on & nothing happened! (It's 90+ Texas heat!) We headed to Winnie to try cooling off at Al T's, but when we got out of the vehicle, it wouldn't lock, so we turned around to go to the parts store to see if maybe a fuse had blown, or something equally simple. Our first mistake was stopping at Napa. That was the WORST customer service I've seen in a while. Yes, we were two women, but we're not stupid women. We had the manual out, trying to figure this out for ourselves (as we were three hours from home). The manual said the fuse box was somewhere it wasn't, so we asked for some assistance & you'd have thought we asked for a million dollars. The disgruntled man FINALLY came outside, popped the hood & says "there's your fuses". Our next question was how to tell if one was no good. "I don't know, you have to get a new one & try it." $20 later & still no help, we continued on to CARQUEST & got a totally different attitude. The gentleman behind the counter was MOST helpful. He even went so far as to put his computer on the truck to see if he could find something fixable. No luck, but he sure tried! Sorry to say we did not get his name. CARQUEST will definitely get a huge thumbs up from us! Thank you for going out of your way!”

“Came to my local orileys today to get a few small things I needed for my truck. I was lucky enough to get help from Brad. Super nice and friendly. Management if you’re seeing this, you’ve got a good one here. Need to take care of this guy and he def deserves a raise! He set the standard on what all employees should strive to be like. “My vehicle broke down while on my way to New Braunfels TX from Louisiana, and I brought it to them to be fixed. It was very stressful. They assisted me immediately, and brought me back to hotel while they worked on it. I can’t say enough about Jeff (I think was the owner or manager) and the mechanic Alex. They were very kind, courteous, and extremely fair in their pricing. They fixed it within a few hours, picked me up at hotel & brought me to my car and made sure I was safely on my way. To find honest, efficient, and kind service in that situation is a huge blessing!!”
