“Im pretty handy with basic car repairs. I bought a high mileage Acura TLX in ‘22. Diligent maintenance has allowed me to add 80K more bringing the car to 175k currently.
I needed a state inspection and also asked for a suspension inspection since those are still factory parts.
Their thorough assessment of the vehicle by Johnny (or James) impressed me!! They affirmed the worn components and found just the inner tie rod required immediate replacement. The rest were still tight and allowed for a accurate re-alignment after the tie rod was replaced.
Now, they could have easily said shocks, wheel bearings, ball joints and bushings etc., needed replacing and costing me a lot of $$, but they didn't. The car doesn't need them, at least right now. Maybe in another 25k miles at 200k.
The car drives and handles like new again!
